    • Pasquantino drives in lone run for Royals in loss
      Vinnie Pasquantino went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Marlins.

      Advice: Pasquantino singled in the first inning to score Maikel Garcia from third after Garcia walked to kick off the inning and subsequently stole two bases. It would be the only run the Royals would score on the night as they found themselves in a pitching duel between Yonny Chirinos and Seth Lugo.       Perez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 4-1 win over the Marlins.

      Advice: Perez had gone 0-for-14 over his previous four games, and he'd gone seven contests without an extra-base hit. Both droughts ended when the catcher went back-to-back with Vinnie Pasquantino in the fourth inning, with Perez's homer serving as the decisive run. A poor June -- 11-for-57 (.157) over 20 games -- has taken some of the shine off of what was a strong start to the year for Perez.       Pasquantino went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Monday in a 4-1 win against the Marlins.

      Advice: Pasquantino put the Royals on the board in the fourth inning with his solo blast to right field. It was the first baseman's first long ball since the first day of June, a span of 20 contests. While Pasquantino hasn't been able to hit the ball over the fence regularly this season, he does have 20 doubles (tied for 10th in the majors) and has already blown away his previous season-best mark with 47 RBI through 76 games.       Salvador Perez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Marlins.

      Advice: Perez’ home run was his 11th of the season and second in the month of June. Perez has cooled off this month. He’s 11-for-70 (.157) in June with two home runs and five RBI.       Diaz went 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's victory against the Orioles.

      Advice: Diaz knocked an RBI single in the first inning and later brought home two more runs with a pair of sacrifice flies.       Yainer Diaz went 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored in a win over the Orioles on Sunday.

      Advice: All three of Diaz’s hits were singles, but one of them drove in a run and then he tacked on two more RBI with two sacrifice flies. It hasn’t quite been the breakout season that many expected for the catcher, but he is hitting .264/.292/.412 with 37 RBIs which is contributing more than enough for you from the catcher position.       Bell went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Mariners.

      Advice: The first baseman went back-to-back with Bryan De La Cruz in the sixth inning to tie the score, and the Marlins would eventually collect their third straight walk-off win. The streaky Bell has nine hits in the last five games, but that comes on the heels of an 0-for-21 slump over the prior six contests.       Josh Bell went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a win over the Cardinals on Tuesday.

      Advice: Bell came into today just 12-for-52 (.231) in June after a really solid month of May that saw him hit .311 in 27 games. The veteran doesn’t have a tremendous stat line on the season, but he does have seven home runs and 32 RBI while striking out just 18 percent of the time.
