    Burleson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 8-5 loss to the Astros.

    Advice: Burleson's gone deep in three straight games after a stretch of 12 contests without a homer. He continues to look ready for an everyday role, which has come at a convenient time with the Cardinals missing Lars Nootbaar (oblique) and Tommy Edman (wrist). Burleson is up to a .276/.308/.448 slash line with eight homers, 22 RBI, 17 runs scored, two stolen bases and six doubles over 182 plate appearances this season.     Diaz went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Cardinals.

    Advice: Diaz's third-inning blast gave the Astros a 6-1 lead, which was ultimately enough for the win. The catcher sat out the first two games of June, and he's responded with homers in back-to-back contests after going 39 contests without a long ball. He's up to five homers, 28 RBI, 20 runs scored, 10 doubles and a .249/.277/.383 slash line through 213 plate appearances this season.   • Delivers off bench Tuesday
    Wisdom went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the White Sox.

    Advice: Wisdom provided a game-tying blast as a pinch hitter in the sixth inning after replacing Michael Busch. Over his previous 15 games, Wisdom had gone just 4-for-31 (.129) with two doubles, three RBI and 11 strikeouts. He's now slashing .230/.304/.475 with three homers, 11 RBI, seven runs scored and three stolen bases over 69 plate appearances this season.     Yainer Diaz went 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Cardinals.

    Advice: Diaz put the exclamation point on a four-run third for the Astros when he sent a 367-foot shot to deep right field to put the Astros up 6-1. The homer marked Diaz’s fifth of the season, as he’s now homered in back-to-back games while driving in five runs over that span.   • Hunter Goodman goes 0-for-3 in third straight game
    Hunter Goodman went 0-for-3 and struck out twice Tuesday in the loss to the Reds.

    Advice: The Rockies will probably drop either Goodman or Sean Bouchard when Nolan Jones comes off the IL, and they’ve given Goodman three straight starts to help his chances of sticking.     Mountcastle went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and a two-run shot during Tuesday's 10-1 win over the Blue Jays.

    Advice: Mountcastle was a one-man wrecking crew Tuesday, launching homers in the third and fifth innings -- both off Bowden Francis. The outing was Mountcastle's second multi-homer game of June and the 10th of his career.   • Duran drives in lone run for Rangers in loss
    Ezequiel Duran went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Tigers.

    Advice: Duran’s RBI single in the ninth gave the Rangers their only run in the evening and was just one of the five hits they had in the night. Duran and the Rangers spent much of the night being stifled by Jack Flaherty and the Tigers’ bullpen, but did manage to break through with two hits in the final frame.   • Josh Bell has two hits in loss to Rays
    Josh Bell went 2-for-5 with a double, a triple, two runs scored, and an RBI in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

    Advice: Bell is coming off a solid month of May, where he slashed .311//365/.466 with three home runs and 18 RBI in 27 games. He’s carried that over into June, going 4-for-12 in his first three games of the month. The 31-year-old is a likely trade candidate this summer and could benefit from a change of scenery, especially if he’s going to keep hitting as well as he has been.     Ryan Mountcastle went 2-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Blue Jays.

    Advice: Mountcastle forced a 12-pitch at-bat against Trevor Richards in the first inning before striking out and turned his second at-bat into a three-run bomb off Bowden Francis to put the Orioles up 4-0. He would homer again in the fifth, sending a two-run shot into the stands to push the lead to 7-0.
