    • Three hits in win
Perez went 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, one RBI and one run scored in Friday's 6-2 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Perez opened the scoring with an RBI single in the first inning and got one base three more times in Friday's victory. The veteran catcher is batting .294 (15-for-51) with seven extra-base hits and eight RBI contests in May. That's actually down from his overall numbers -- Perez is slashing a stellar .335/.403/.557 with eight home runs, 34 RBI, 18 runs scored and 11 doubles over 176 plate appearances. He last hit above .300 for a full season in the abbreviated 2020 campaign, so there is a high risk that he cools off eventually in 2024, but he's been excellent over the first quarter of the season. • Justin Turner returns to Jays’ lineup on Friday
Justin Turner returned to the Blue Jays’ starting lineup for Friday night’s battle against the Rays.

Advice: After missing the previous three games due to illness, Turner will jump right back in as the Jays’ designated hitter and will bat cleanup against Tyler Alexander and the Rays on Friday evening. On the season, the 39-year-old is hitting .246/.317/.405 with four homers and 16 RBI in 37 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:56 pm

    • Starting as designated hitter
Santander (knee) is in the starting lineup as the designated hitter for Friday's matchup against the Mariners.

Advice: Santander hurt his knee in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jays after first colliding with the outfield wall and then hitting it again during a slide, which led to his exit from the game. The veteran outfielder will be eased back into the lineup at designated hitter while Ryan O'Hearn mans right field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:25 pm

    • Back in lineup
Turner (illness) is back in the lineup as the designated hitter for Friday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Turner was one of three sick Toronto players and missed the starting lineup for team's last three games due to the illness. The primary designated hitter will return against Tampa Bay, slashing .246/.317/.405 on the season with 16 RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:11 pm

    • Bryce Harper in Phillies lineup on Thursday
Bryce Harper is at first base and batting third on Thursday against the Mets.

Advice: Harper was back in Philadelphia’s lineup on Wednesday following a one-game absence due to a migraine. It doesn’t sound like a concern at all moving forward. Rotoworld Thursday, 1:36 pm

    • Records third steal Wednesday
Raley went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a stolen base in a win over the Royals on Wednesday.

Advice: Raley delivered a timely single in the eighth inning that plated pinch runner Leonardo Rivas, extending the Mariners' lead back to two runs after Bobby Witt had brought the Royals within one in the top half of the frame. Raley's multi-hit effort was an extension of a torrid stretch at the plate for the offseason addition, one that's seen him generate a .435 average and 1.219 OPS over the last seven games. • Powers home three runs in win
Harper went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, two total runs and three total RBI in Wednesday's 10-5 win over the Mets.

Advice: Harper missed Tuesday's contest against New York due to a migraine, but he didn't show any lingering effects of the ailment upon his return to the lineup. The first baseman belted a solo homer to left field in his first at-bat, then plated a pair of runs with a double in the fifth inning. Harper had been in a mini slump coming into the game with a .190 average and just one RBI over his previous five contests, but he appears to be back on track. He's tied for eighth in the majors with 10 homers and ranks 10th with 32 RBI on the campaign. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:15 pm

    • Freddie Freeman collects two hits, scores run in loss
Freddie Freeman went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a walk against the Giants on Wednesday.

Advice: Freeman drew a walk in the third inning, then knocked a base hit in the fifth. He reached for a third time with a single to lead off the eighth and came around to score on a single and a sacrifice fly. The 34-year-old first baseman is hitting .297/.408/.455 with four homers, 26 runs scored, 24 RBI, and one steal across 201 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:15 pm

    • Justin Turner comes off bench in return
Justin Turner returned to action Wednesday, finishing 0-for-2 off the bench against the Orioles.

Advice: Turner missed the previous two games because of illness. He’ll now have another day to recuperate, as the Jays don’t play Thursday. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:14 pm
