• Scores twice Sunday
Bregman went 1-for-5 with a double and two runs scored Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Bregman led off the fourth inning with a double and came around to score, accounting for most of his production. Though his season-long numbers remain fairly unimpressive, Bregman did have a productive June by hitting .310 with two homers, 11 RBI and 19 runs scored in 25 games. Rotowire.com 21 minutes ago

  • Swats 11th homer
Chapman went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and three total RBI in Sunday's 10-4 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Chapman's been hot to close out June, going 13-for-37 (.351) with three homers, nine RBI and 11 runs scored over his last 10 contests. He hit just .190 over his first 15 games this month. The third baseman is at a .242/.323/.414 slash line with 11 homers, 39 RBI, 55 runs scored and a career-high seven stolen bases through 82 games this year. Chapman's unlikely to continue to hit for average, but he can still make an impact if his power stays up. Rotowire.com 35 minutes ago

  • Homers in loss
Taylor went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

Advice: Taylor put the Dodgers on the board with a solo shot in the fifth inning and later added an RBI double in the seventh. It was his second long ball of the year, and both have come in his last nine games. Taylor didn't have a multi-hit performance through 41 games to start the year but now has two in his last six contests. He's slashing .164/.256/.255 with five extra-base hits and 12 RBI through 126 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 9:18 pm

  • Leads charge Sunday
Malloy went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Angels.

Advice: Malloy's blast in the fourth inning, his third of the season, extended the Detroit lead to 4-0. The rookie has gotten off to a sluggish start in the majors, as he's still batting only .175 with a 38 percent strikeout rate after Sunday. Despite the struggles, Malloy has good power potential, and his prospect pedigree suggests that he'll figure it out at some point. However, fantasy managers may have to remain patient in the short term. Rotowire.com Today, 7:39 pm

  • Finishes single short of cycle
Paredes went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double and an additional run scored Sunday against the Nationals.

Advice: Paredes entered the day with just two hits over his last 23 at-bats but broke out of it in a big way with his first three-hit game since May 21. He did all his damage off Nationals starter Patrick Corbin, going 3-for-3 against the lefty. Despite the recent slump, Paredes maintains a healthy .276/.361/.472 slash line on the season with 13 home runs, 43 RBI, 32 runs and 32 walks over 328 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:29 pm

  • Gunnar Henderson strikes out four times
Gunnar Henderson lost his 36-game on-base streak by striking out all four times up against the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: All four strikeouts came against Andrew Heaney. It’s his first golden sombrero since Oct. 1, 2022. Rotoworld Today, 7:15 pm

  • Gunnar Henderson to take part in Home Run Derby
Gunnar Henderson announced on ESPN that he will participate in this year’s Home Run Derby.

Advice: Henderson added that it’ll be the first time he’s participated in a competitive Derby. The 23-year-old shortstop is currently tied for second in the majors with 26 homers. Rotoworld Today, 4:47 pm

  • Justyn-Henry Malloy homers, Tigers edge Angels
Justyn-Henry Malloy went 2-for-3 with an inside-the-park homer on Sunday, leading the Tigers to a 7-6 win over the Angels.

Advice: Malloy has compiled cringe-inducing numbers this season since getting the call to the majors back in early June, but he made his presence felt in this one with a two-run, inside-the-park homer off Angels southpaw Tyler Anderson in the fourth inning. It was just his third big fly in 23 games so far in the big leagues as he’s also struck out 28 times in 73 plate appearances during that span. The 24-year-old was an on-base machine in the upper minors, but he’s still clearly a work in progress at the highest level. The big question will be how long the Tigers are going to be willing to let him continue to try to figure things out. Rotoworld Today, 4:07 pm

  • Chris Taylor homers, drives in two runs in loss
Chris Taylor went 2-for-3 with a solo homer and two RBI on Sunday in the Dodgers’ blowout loss to the Giants.

Advice: Taylor was one of the few bright spots for Los Angeles during Sunday’s one-sided smackdown at the hands of San Francisco, delivering one of this better performances of the season just a few hours after Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters he’ll be given a bit of a runway to make it work at third base moving forward. The struggling 33-year-old veteran went deep off Giants starter Spencer Bivens in the fifth inning before adding a run-scoring double a couple frames later. He’s still a long way off from consideration as a fantasy contributor, even in deeper mixed leagues, but a strong few weeks could be enough to keep him on the roster in Los Angeles heading towards the postseason.
