    Crawford (2-3) took the loss Friday, coughing up six runs on seven hits and two walks over 4.1 innings as the Red Sox fell 7-2 to the Brewers. He struck out four.

    Advice: It was the worst performance of the season for the right-hander, who failed to complete five innings for the first time since April 5 and got tagged for more than three earned runs for just the second time in 11 starts.     Wilson (3-1) picked up the win Friday, giving up two runs on six hits and a walk over 5.1 relief innings in a 7-2 victory over the Red Sox. He struck out seven.

    Advice: Jared Koenig got the nod as the opener but recorded only two outs and put two runners aboard before Wilson entered the game. He struck out Tyler O'Neill to end the rally, the first of a season-high seven Ks for the 26-year-old right-hander as he generated 28 called or swinging strikes among his 80 pitches. In six trips to the mound since taking the place of DL Hall (knee) in the rotation, Wilson has posted a 2.67 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 26:15 K:BB over 30.1 innings, but Friday's win was his first in that stretch. Hall has worked only one-inning stints to begin his rehab assignment, perhaps signaling that Wilson's spot is secure even when the Brewers' staff gets healthier.     Advice: The lefty entered the game after Shawn Armstrong has delivered two perfect innings as the opener, but Kansas City quickly got to Alexander. The eight runs and 11 hits were both seasons worsts for the 29-year-old, and over his last three outings he's been tagged for 17 runs in 19.1 innings.   • Leaves with lower-leg injury
    Urena was removed from Friday's game because of swelling in his left lower leg, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Urena was hit by a comebacker in the ankle area of his left leg during the third inning but remained in the game. He made it through another two innings and attempted to warm up for the sixth when the discomfort became too much.     Advice: The veteran right-hander was stingy once again, giving up two earned runs or less for the sixth straight start despite a lack of dominance Friday that saw him generate only eight swinging strikes among his 104 pitches. Lugo has gone 5-0 over that stretch with a 1.52 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 47:8 K:BB through 41.1 innings, and he'll look to keep rolling in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come on the road next week in Minnesota.     Kelly (shoulder) underwent an MRI earlier this week, and it showed significant healing, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

    Ty Blach delivered a quality start against the Phillies on Friday, allowing two runs over 6 2/3 innings in a no-decision.

    Advice: The runs came on homers from Nick Castellanos and Edmundo Sora in the fifth, but Blach remained in and pitched two more innings afterwards. He was actually at just 78 pitches when came out. Blach has a solid 4.55 ERA in four starts and three relief appearances for the Rockies, even though he’s fanned just 12 batters in 27 2/3 innings.     Cristopher Sánchez held the Rockies to one run in 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision Friday.
