    • Homers, reaches three times in win
Pederson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 5-4 win over the Phillies on Friday.

Advice: Pederson hit a solo home run in the third inning, singled in the fifth and walked in the seventh. Over his last 10 games, Pederson has gone 12-for-31 with three homers, 13 RBI and nine runs scored. Pederson only has eight at-bats against left-handed pitchers this season, but he is crushing righties to the tune of a .306/.398/.529 slash with nine home runs, 33 RBI and 28 runs scored in 170 at-bats. • Joc Pederson homers, on-base three times Friday
Joc Pederson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and walk on Friday against the Phillies.

Advice: Pederson, Lourdes Gurriel, and Gabriel Moreno all jumped on Taijuan Walker for third inning home runs in this one. Pederson has been a revelation for managers in daily leagues this season with a .927 OPS against right-handers as a mainstay in the heart of Arizona’s lineup. Rotoworld 11 minutes ago
    • Taijuan Walker struggles again, allows three homers
Taijuan Walker allowed four earned runs in four innings of work on Friday against the Diamondbacks. He struck out three and walked three en route to the loss.

Advice: Walker’s dreadful season continued in this one. He had fewer whiffs than homers allowed which is all you need to know about this start and his season overall. It’s notable that Spencer Turnbull followed Walker in long-relief. He settled the game down and made this appearance exactly five days after his last long-relief appearance where Walker’s next appearance is likely coming in five days from this game. Turnbull had a strong April in the rotation with Walker on the IL and it’s difficult to find a reason that Walker would be more effective than Turnbull in that role going forward. • Carlos Carrasco cruises through six innings for win
Carlos Carrasco allowed just one run across six innings on Friday in a 7-1 win over the Blue Jays. He struck out seven without walking a batter.

Advice: No, you did not fall into a wormhole and transport yourself back to 2017 despite Carrasco’s line making it feel that way. He was flat out good in this one. His fastball ticked up to 93 MPH and his slider forced seven whiffs on 13 swings as he mixed all five of his pitches against this pitiful Blue Jays lineup. Tip the cap to the veteran Carrasco for a great start. Rotoworld 39 minutes ago

    • Four hits, three RBI in win
Iglesias went 4-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored in Friday's 11-1 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Iglesias was active early, singling and scoring a run in the second inning, hitting an RBI single in the third and adding a two-run single in the fourth. He later added another base hit in the seventh. Iglesias has gone an impressive 14-for-32 with six RBI and five runs scored in his return to the majors while primarily starting at second base against left-handed pitchers. • Yariel Rodríguez can’t get through two innings
Yariel Rodríguez lasted just 1 1/3 innings on Friday against the Guardians and allowed four earned runs. He walked three batters and struck out just one.

Advice: Rodríguez’s return to the Blue Jays’ rotation left a lot to be desired. His usually impressive slider did not look sharp and was moving less compared to before his injury. Without that, he didn’t have a put-away pitch and struggled to retire nearly every batter he faced. He’d built up to about 80 pitches in April and could get back there with legitimate strikeout upside if the Jays let him. He just isn’t there yet. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago
    • Leaves game with back tightness
Isbel exited Friday's game against the Rangers due to lower back tightness.

Advice: Garrett Hampson pinch hit for Isbel in the top of the fifth inning. Before exiting, Isbel hit a solo home run in the top of the third inning in his only at-bat of the game. Clarity on the severity of the injury should be known following Friday's game. Rotowire.com 55 minutes ago

    • Kyle Isbel homers, leaves game with back tightness
Kyle Isbel was removed from Friday night’s showdown against the Rangers due to tightness in his lower back.

Advice: The 27-year-old outfielder had slugged a 387-foot solo homer in his lone at-bat in the contest but was pinch-hit for the next time that he strolled to the plate in the fifth inning. It doesn’t sound like anything that should require a trip to the injured list, but fantasy managers should monitor his status over the weekend to be on the safe side. Rotoworld 55 minutes ago

    • Homers in win
Kelly went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in a 2-1 win over the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Kelly's two-run home run off Erick Fedde in the second inning was the difference in the game, as the Tigers pitchers limited the White Sox to just one run. The homer was Kelly's second in four games, and he has registered a solid .267/.353/.500 slash in nine June contests. On the season, Kelly is slashing .238/.324/.373 with four home runs and 17 RBI over 142 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 56 minutes ago
