      Advice: Gil struggled out of the gate, surrendering a leadoff double to open the contest before eventually allowing one run in the first. However, things would get much worse for the right-hander in the following frame, as he failed to retire nine of the next 10 batters he faced, leading to his shortest outing of the campaign. Gil gave up a season-high seven runs on the afternoon and failed to make it through six innings for the third consecutive start. It also marked his first loss since April 15 against Toronto.       Luis Gil allowed seven runs in 1 1/3 innings and took the loss against the Orioles on Thursday.

      Advice: Gil gave up eight hits, walked two and struck out one. He was due to have a bad start. Gil entered the game with a .194 BABIP allowed and 83 percent left on base percentage.       Advice: Miller missed over two months with a shoulder injury, and making his return at Coors Field was always going to be a tough task. He left the game with a lead in the seventh inning, but the Dodgers couldn't stay ahead. The 25-year-old right-hander has a 6.00 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 20:9 K:BB over 18 innings through four starts this season. Miller continues to have plenty of upside as a young pitcher supported by a strong offense, but it may take him a few starts to get fully comfortable again in the majors.       Bobby Miller allowed five runs with two strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Rockies on Wednesday.

      Advice: Colorado isn’t exactly the best place to make a return off the injured list. He served up a three-run shot to Michael Toglia in the first inning. Miller then gave up one more run in the fourth before pitching into the seventh. He gave up a leadoff double and was replaced on the mound with one out. The inherited runner came in to score.       Advice: The right-hander has been sidelined by shoulder inflammation since mid-April, but he's ready to rejoin the big-league rotation after a four-start rehab assignment in the minors.       Advice: The 25-year-old hurler will make his triumphant return to the hill against the Rockies at Coors Field on Wednesday. He made four starts in the minor leagues while he was building back up, registering a 7.80 ERA, 1.80 WHIP and a 10/8 K/BB ratio over 15 frames.       Lopez (5-2) earned the win Wednesday over the Tigers, allowing seven hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out six.

      Advice: It's the second straight scoreless outing for Lopez, though he failed to make it through six innings for just the second time in his last six starts. The 30-year-old right-hander lowered his ERA to a remarkable 1.57 with a 1.08 WHIP and 76:23 K:BB across 74.1 innings this year.       Reynaldo López scattered seven hits over five scoreless innings in a victory over the Tigers on Wednesday.

      Advice: Both Lopez and Tarik Skubal allowed seven hits in this one, but every one López surrendered was a single and they were all spread out; he allowed one each in the first three innings and two apiece in the fourth and fifth.       Houck didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against Toronto, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks across 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

      Advice: Houck ended up one out shy of a sixth consecutive quality start, getting pulled at 103 pitches after yielding an RBI single to Isiah Kiner-Falefa. Houck has struck out five or more batters in seven straight starts and owns a 4-2 record with a 2.17 ERA across 45.2 innings during that stretch.
