      Advice: Chisholm is back in center field and leading in the wake of a one-game absence from Friday’s game against the Phillies after taking a 93 mph fastball from lefty Matt Strahm off his right hand during Thursday’s series opener. X-rays came back negative for any fractures and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to miss any additional time moving forward.       Torres went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Friday's 16-5 rout of Toronto.

      Advice: Torres was held out of action Wednesday and Thursday following a prolonged slump, and the time off appeared to serve him well. The second baseman contributed to a Yankees offensive explosion Friday with a two-run blast in the sixth inning and added a sacrifice fly in the ninth.       Witt went 1-for-3 with two walks, one stolen base and two runs scored in Friday's 10-3 win over the Guardians.

      Advice: Witt previously went 10 games without a steal and hit just .184 (7-for-38) in that span. While that's a rare cold stretch for the shortstop, he salvaged it by knocking five extra-base hits in that period.       Cal Raleigh picked up an RBI on a fielder’s choice to give the Mariners a 3-2 win over the Twins on Friday.

      Advice: The Mariners scored all of their runs in bizarre fashion Friday, and Raleigh made sure the game-winner was a dribbler that was good enough to score J.P. Crawford from third and give Seattle the win. The 27-year-old backstop has really struggled to hit for average, but has helped as a ron-producer with 50 RBI in through the first 84 games of the year.       Ryan Helsley worked a flawless ninth for his 29th save Friday against the Reds.

      Advice: Helsley very nearly surrendered a game-tying homer to Stuart Fairchild with two outs in the ninth, but Brendan Donovan made a jumping catch at the wall. Statcast said it would have been a homer in 14 of the 30 parks. This was a very quick outing for Helsley — he threw just six pitches — so even though he’s worked four out of six days, there’s a good chance he’ll be available Saturday.     • Extends saves lead
      Helsley struck out one batter in a perfect inning to earn a save over the Reds on Friday.

      Advice: Helsley had about as efficient of an outing as possible, needing only six pitches to close out the 1-0 game. It was his 29th save in 30 tries this season and he lowered his June ERA to 3.00 through 12 appearances. Helsley leads all of baseball in saves and no one else has more than 25.     • Jackson Chourio hits grand slam to lead Brewers
      Jackson Chourio hit his first career grand slam Friday to provide all of the scoring as the Brewers beat the Cubs 4-2.

      Advice: This one was pretty legit; the homer was projected at 377 feet and would have been out of 21 of the 30 ballparks. He still has just one no-doubter this year; he hit a Martín Pérez changeup 441 feet on May 15. Apart from that, his next farthest blast was 402 feet.       Chourio went 2-for-3 with a grand slam in Friday's win over the Cubs.

      Advice: Chourio's grand slam in the fourth inning gave the Brewers the lead and proved to be the only offense the team could produce all night. He's homered in back-to-back games, though his home run Wednesday against Texas was inside-the-park. He's knocked nine homers with 33 RBI and a .676 OPS through 72 games this season.       The Giants placed Estrada on the 10-day injured list Friday with a left wrist sprain, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reported earlier Friday that Estrada has been playing through multiple injuries recently, and the Giants will now place the 28-year-old infielder on the IL so that he can recover properly. Tyler Fitzgerald will come up from Triple-A Sacramento to help replenish the Giants' infield depth, and Nick Ahmed figures to see the biggest increase in playing time while Estrada is sidelined.
