    Advice: Abrams didn't wait long to make his presence felt, swatting a 396-foot homer to lead off the contest. It was the 13th long ball of the campaign for the shortstop, and he's well on pace to surpass the 18 home runs he hit during his first full big-league season last year. Abrams hasn't been as successful as a runner this season -- he's just 13-for-22 in stolen-base attempts after going 47-for-51 in 2023 -- but he's otherwise shown growth in nearly every offensive category, slashing .278/.334/.498 with 20 doubles, five triples, 50 runs and 42 RBI through 328 plate appearances.     Turang went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a stolen base in a loss to the Cubs on Saturday.

    Advice: Turang's speed was on display in the defeat -- he plated the Brewers' first run with an RBI bunt single in the third inning and followed the hit with a steal of second base. The swipe was his 28th of the season, second-most in the majors. Fantasy managers should have been aware of Turang's speed coming into the campaign after he swiped 26 bags in 137 games last year, but the second baseman's other offensive stats have been a pleasant surprise.   • Miguel Rojas plates four as Dodgers top Giants
    Miguel Rojas went 3-for-5 and drove in four runs on Saturday night, propelling the Dodgers to a 14-7 victory over the Giants in 11 innings in San Francisco.

    Advice: Rojas got the Dodgers on the board in the second inning with an RBI single off of Spencer Howard that plated Andy Pages. He drove in Pages again with an RBI knock in the fourth inning then scored on an RBI single by Will Smith. The 35-year-old shortstop also drove in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning, dropping an RBI single into center field that plated Chris Taylor. He finished his night with a sacrifice fly that capped off a seven-run uprising in the 11th.   • Initial X-rays come back negative for Corey Seager
    Initial X-rays on the injured left hand/wrist of Corey Seager came back negative for any fractures on Saturday.

    Advice: That doesn’t necessarily mean that the coast is clear, as he’ll still undergo additional testing, but it’s very encouraging to hear that there were no fractures revealed on the initial X-rays.   • X-rays negative
    Seager's (wrist) X-rays came back negative and he'll undergo further evaluation Sunday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

    Advice: Seager was hit in the left wrist by a pitch during Saturday's game against the Orioles and was immediately removed from the contest. Considering he looked to be in significant pain, Seager's X-rays returning negative is certainly an encouraging sign. Sill, it seems like he'll be held out of Sunday's series finale.     Seager was hit in the left wrist by a pitch in the fifth inning and immediately exited the game, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

  • Corey Seager (hand) leaves game after hit by pitch
    Corey Seager was removed from Saturday’s game against the Orioles after being hit by a pitch on his left hand in the fifth inning.

    Advice: On the seventh pitch of his at-bat in the fifth inning, Cade Povich tried to come inside with a 90.5 mph sinker and clipped Seager near his left hand/wrist. Seager immediately retreated to the clubhouse, didn’t make any attempt to stay in the game. He’ll head for X-rays to see if there’s any structural damage.     Kiner-Falefa went 4-for-5 with an RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 9-3 win over the Yankees.

    Advice: Kiner-Falefa singled and scored in the first inning and added another base-hit in the fifth. He smacked an RBI single and scored in the sixth frame and then finished his huge day by doubling and scoring again in the eighth. Since June 15, the 29-year-old has enjoyed a 13-game hit streak and seen his season average climb from .263 to .296.     De La Cruz went 2-for-5 with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Cardinals.

    Advice: De La Cruz hit an RBI double in the third inning and followed it up with his 40th steal of the season. He then tripled and scored in a six-run fifth frame for the Reds. After going eight games without a steal, the 22-year-old has now swiped a bag in three consecutive contests and continues to lead the league in the category. He did strike out three times to bring his league-leading season total to 110 but is still hitting a solid .255 with 14 home runs, 37 RBI and 55 runs scored over 355 plate appearances.
