  • Running bases
Thomas (hamstring) ran the bases with cleats Saturday, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

Advice: Thomas endured a setback during the recovery from a left hamstring strain in late May, and after being shut down from running, he resumed running the bases Saturday. He's expected to begin a rehab assignment next week, but manager Torey Lovullo said Wednesday that Thomas won't need many games before being activated considering how many at-bats he's taken while on the injured list. • Akil Baddoo dealing with soreness in knee
Akil Baddoo reported feeling soreness in his knee following a collision with Colt Keith during Saturday’s loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Keith seemed to take the brunt of the collision in shallow right field — and was removed from the game — but it sounds like Baddoo got a bit banged up as well. He should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Today, 5:00 pm

  • Blackmon has three hits, stolen base Saturday
Charlie Blackmon went 3-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored, a double and a stolen base against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: The stolen base was Blackmon’s fifth of the season. He’s hitting just .259 with two home runs this year, but figures to continue to see a decent amount of playing time because, well, it’s the Rockies. Rotoworld Today, 4:56 pm
  • Christian Yelich plates two runs to lead Brewers
Christian Yelich went 2-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs on Saturday afternoon, propelling the Brewers to a 5-4 victory over the Tigers in Motown.

Advice: Yelich opened the scoring in the ballgame with an RBI single off of Casey Mize that plated Brice Turang in the first inning. He then drove in another run with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. Yelich also reached on an infield single in the fifth inning and swiped second base, but the Brewers couldn’t cash him in. With his two-hit attack, the dynamic 32-year-old outfielder is now hitting .333/.414/.532 with six homers, 29 RBI and 10 stolen bases in what has been an impressive all-around season. • Homers, scores twice
Frazier went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double and two runs scored in Saturday's win over the Mariners.

Advice: The utility player got extra-base hits in both of his at-bats Saturday, homering in the second and then hitting a leadoff double in the fifth. He was later pulled for pinch hitter Hunter Renfroe in the sixth after the Mariners brought in lefty Kirby Snead. It was Frazier's first multi-hit effort since May 25 and just his second homer of the year. He's been stuck in a part-time role for the most part this season and his line of .227/.322/.320 leaves room for improvement. Rotowire.com Today, 4:22 pm
