• Josh Naylor’s 3-run homer leads Guardians to win
Josh Naylor went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

Advice: Naylor capped off a six-run second inning for the Guardians when he smacked a three-run homer off Jack Leiter to give the Guardians a 6-1 lead. Naylor has now homered four times this month and has hit 12 on the season while also driving in 33 runs. He’s pacing toward a career year if he can continue his strong start. He’s cooled off a bit, slashing .239/.352/.587 this month, but continues to be an imposing threat in the middle of the order.

  • Bo Naylor drives in two in win over Rangers
Bo Naylor went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

Advice: Naylor doubled in the second inning to score Estevan Florial and Kyle Manzanardo, giving the Guardians their first runs of the day and an early 2-0 lead. He would later score on a single by Andrés Giménez to push the lead to 3-0. Naylor’s hit ended a three-game hitless streak as the catcher has struggled out of the gate to start the year. Naylor entered the day batting .175 with three homers and nine RBI over 33 games. He remains well off the fantasy radar at this time. Rotoworld Today, 8:13 pm

  • Elias Díaz leaves game with left hand soreness
Elias Díaz was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Padres due to left hand soreness.

Advice: It doesn’t sound like a serious concern, but we’ll have to wait and see. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Today, 7:50 pm

  • Stanton hits ninth homer of year vs. Twins
Giancarlo Stanton went 2-for-5 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Twins.

Advice: Stanton hit his ninth homer of the season in the third inning when he took Chris Paddack deep for a solo blast, giving the Yankees a 3-1 lead. A true feast-or-famine player at this stage of his career, Stanton is still good for the occasional homer and has plenty of opportunities to drive in runs batting in the middle of a potent lineup, but shouldn’t be viewed as anything more than a desperation play as far as fantasy is concerned. • Anthony Volpe doubles, drives in one vs. Twins
Anthony Volpe went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Twins.

Advice: Volpe doubled in the second inning to drive home Gleyber Torres, giving the Yankees their second run of the inning and an early 2-1 lead. Volpe pushed his current hitting streak to seven games in this one and is now slashing .265/.333/.469 for the month of May. Rotoworld Today, 7:36 pm

  • Romy Gonzalez has game-winning single vs Rays
Romy Gonzalez had a game-winning single in the 12th inning to carry the Red Sox to a 5-4 win over the Rays.

Advice: Gonzalez had entered as a pinch runner for Dominic Smith in the 10th inning and got his first at-bat in the 12th when he laced what would have been a double down the first base line for the game-winning hit. The versatile infielder had started four of five games since coming off the IL, going 4-for-14 with one run and two SBs heading into Tuesday night. His ability to play all over the diamond will keep him in the lineup semi-regularly in the coming weeks. That could make him useful in AL-only formats. Rotoworld Today, 7:35 pm

  • Jeffers’ homer gives Twins lone run vs. Yankees
Ryan Jeffers went 1-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Carlos Rodón’s second pitch of the evening was sent 429 feet into the left field stands by Jeffers, who got the scoring started with a leadoff homer. It was Jeffers’ 10th home run of the season, as he’s well on pace to top his previous career high of 14 before the all-star break. Jeffers is now slashing .278/.308/.806 in the month of May with five homers and 13 RBI. Rotoworld Today, 7:34 pm

  • Late scratch Tuesday
Garver (undisclosed) was scratched from the Mariners' lineup Tuesday versus the Royals.

Advice: Garver was originally set to operate as the team's designated hitter and bat third Tuesday, but he'll now take a seat. It's unclear what caused the 33-year-old to be scratched and more information will likely be provided following the contest. In the meantime, Mitch Haniger will slot in at designated hitter while Sam Haggerty will enter the lineup in left field and bat ninth against Kansas City. Rotowire.com Today, 5:58 pm

Mitch Garver has been scratched from the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Royals.

Advice: No word yet on the reason for the change. The 33-year-old veteran slugger has been ice-cold this season in his Seattle debut, batting just .174 (21-for-121) with five homers and 13 RBI in 143 plate appearances over 36 contests. Rotoworld Today, 5:55 pm
