    Advice: Rodríguez, 26, looked like he might turn into a quality reliever a couple of years ago, but he has a 7.11 ERA and a 28/17 K/BB in 31 2/3 innings for the Rangers since making his major league debut in 2022, and his minor league numbers haven’t been very good, either. With his velocity having declined some, it’s possible he’ll clear waivers. Still, since he can be stashed in Triple-A, it seems more likely that a rebuilding club will give him a look.     Muller (shoulder) fired a scoreless inning in his rehab outing with Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday, allowing one hit and recording a strikeout.

    Advice: Muller kicked off his rehab assignment in solid fashion, successfully working around a single and getting through his one frame on 10 pitches. The left-hander is due to make multiple appearances for the Aviators before activation is considered, although he may not need more than a couple of more outings considering he won't need to build up much as a result of his relief role.     Stripling (elbow) was able to complete a bullpen session before Tuesday's game against the Angels and is set to throw another Saturday, MLB.com reports.

    Advice: The veteran right-hander came away feeling healthy from Tuesday's activity, and he's expected to throw 30-35 pitches in his session Saturday.     Advice: Muller has missed a month with left shoulder tendinitis. We’ve yet to hear whether the A’s intend to stretch him out before bringing him back to the majors.
