    • Idle against southpaw
Rosario is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Rosario will take a seat for the second day in a row while the Marlins bring another left-hander (Jesus Luzardo) to the hill. Though he's turned in an unremarkable .520 OPS thus far in June, Rosario still seems to have a hold on a near-everyday role against right-handed pitching. Rotowire.com Today, 8:53 am

    • MRI reveals no structural damage in Winker’s knee
An MRI on Jesse Winker’s right knee revealed know structural damage.

Advice: The clean imaging is great news for Winker, and the expectation is that he’ll be able to return to the lineup after a couple of days of rest. He’s out of action for Sunday’s game against the Marlins, and isn’t likely to be available off the bench. Rotoworld Today, 8:41 am

    • Not starting Sunday
Winker (knee) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: Winker required an MRI after exiting Saturday's 4-0 win with a right knee injury, and while the results of his medical tests haven't yet been revealed, he'll be forced to miss out on at least one start. With Winker out of the lineup Sunday, Ildemaro Vargas will pick up a start in left field. Rotowire.com Today, 8:31 am

    • Sitting against lefty
Gordon is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Gordon will sit for the fourth time in five games, with the Marlins having faced left-handed starting pitchers on each of those four occasions. He'll cede his spot in the lineup to Emmanuel Rivera as the Marlins stock up on an extra right-handed bat to counter Nationals southpaw Mitchell Parker. Rotowire.com Today, 8:25 am

    • Set to lose work to Marsh
Dahl will start in left field and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: Following his June 3 call-up from Triple-A Lehigh Valley, Dahl made six starts in left field and went 5-for-23 with two home runs and two doubles. His time as a regular in the Philadelphia lineup is likely over after Brandon Marsh returned from the 10-day injured list Saturday, but the Phillies have room for both Marsh and Dahl in the outfield Sunday while center fielder Johan Rojas gets the afternoon off. • Continues hot stretch Saturday
Moniak went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-3 win against the Giants.

Advice: Moniak produced the Angels' first run with a solo shot to center field in the second inning. Though he's still posting an ugly .194/.241/.300 slash line on the season, the outfielder has been heating up of late. Moniak has hit safely in seven straight games, batting .391 (9-for-23) with four extra-base hits, six RBI, four runs and two stolen bases while starting in center field in all but one contest during that stretch. • Mashes grand slam
Melendez went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in Saturday's win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Melendez put the Royals on top with a two-out grand slam in the top of the sixth, drawing 12 pitches in the at-bat before jumping on a hanging cutter from Blake Treinen. The 25-year-old also recorded an infield single earlier in the contest, giving him his first multi-hit effort since May 10 against the Angels. Melendez is batting just .152 in June with and Saturday actually marked the first time this month in which he's strung together hits in back-to-back contests. On a positive note, he now has three homers in his last eight games to go along with 10 RBI and four runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 7:31 am

    • Huge game in return
Cave (head) went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, three RBI and three runs scored Saturday against Pittsburgh.

Advice: Cave was hit in the head during batting practice Friday but returned to the lineup one day later. He participated in Colorado's 16-run offensive outburst in a significant way, and he now has at least one hit in each of his last four starts. Cave entered the lineup with Brenton Doyle (knee) scratched, though he may find consistent playing time hard to come by assuming Doyle doesn't require a stint on the injured list. • First homer of June
Arozarena went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Saturday against Atlanta.

Advice: Arozarena went yard in the ninth inning to tally his ninth homer of the season and his first in June. Despite the lack of power, he has managed to hit .263 with a .417 on-base percentage for the month -- both of which are significant improvements over his season-long line. Arozarena is still hitting just .175 for the campaign, though he has also chipped in seven steals. Rotowire.com Today, 6:50 am
