    • Pops eighth home run
Lee went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Saturday against the Rockies.

Advice: Lee added insurance runs in the eighth inning of Saturday's win by popping his eighth home run of the season. Despite going yard three times in his last 12 games, Lee is in a lengthy slump, hitting just .175 across 80 at-bats in June. Also hurting Lee's fantasy value is that he's lost at-bats at designated hitter due to a combination of his struggles and the return of Eloy Jimenez. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:50 pm
    • Belts first homer
Stubbs went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Marlins.

Advice: The 31-year-old backstop got the Phillies on the board in the third inning by clubbing a Roddery Munoz sinker over the right-field fence. The homer was Stubbs' first of the season, and he's been making a modest impact since J.T. Realmuto (knee) was sidelined, hitting safely in nine of his last 10 games and batting .278 (10-for-36) over that stretch. The RBI was his first since June 2, however. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:54 pm
    • Will Smith drives in three runs in Dodgers victory
Will Smith went 3-for-6 with a double and three RBI on Saturday night as the Dodgers outlasted the Giants in 11 innings.

Advice: Smith beat out an infield single in the fourth inning that drove in a run and knotted the score at five runs apiece. He then delivered the game’s biggest hit in the 11th inning, smacking a two-run double that gave the Dodgers a two-run lead and put them well on their way to victory. With his three-hit night, the 29-year-old backstop is now hitting .269/.339/.466 with 11 homers and 50 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:06 pm
    • Garrett Stubbs homers in loss to Marlins
Garrett Stubbs went 1-for-2 with a solo homer against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Stubbs put the Phillies on the board with a solo homer off Roddery Muñoz to lead off the third inning, his first homer of the season. It was one of two runs the Phillies would score in the loss to Miami. The 29-year-old backstop has taken over as the primary catcher with J.T. Realmuto on the injured list. He’s slashing .216/.281/.261 across 96 plate appearances. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:50 pm
    • Gabriel Moreno (thumb) won’t need rehab assignment
Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Saturday that Gabriel Moreno (thumb) is not expected to require a rehab assignment.

Advice: Moreno is getting back up to speed in the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League at the moment, but Lovullo made it sound like he’ll return on Tuesday instead of getting into some additional minor league contests. The 24-year-old backstop has been out since last weekend due to a left thumb sprain. Rotoworld Saturday, 11:35 am
    • Getting Saturday off
Barnhart isn't in the Diamondbacks' lineup for Saturday's game versus Oakland.

Advice: The switch-hitting Barnhart owns just a .290 OPS against left-handed pitching this season, so he'll take a seat Saturday as the A's send southpaw Hogan Harris to the mound. Jose Herrera will fill in behind the dish and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:05 am
    • Not starting Saturday
Jansen is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: Jansen went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts in Friday's 16-5 loss to the Yankees. The 29-year-old catcher could be headed for the paternity list based on Brian Serven being in the Blue Jays' clubhouse on the taxi squad, per Hazel Mae of Sportsnet. Alejandro Kirk will start behind home plate Saturday and bat seventh against Yankees southpaw Nestor Cortes. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:42 am

    • Drawing closer to return
Diaz (calf) ran on the field Friday and Saturday and has made good progress in his recovery, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Manager Bud Black seemed to offer a more positive outlook on Diaz's recovery than in recent days, though Black still declined to offer a timetable for Diaz's return. Positively, the manager suggested that Diaz will not need a rehab assignment before being activated from the injured list. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:44 am

    • Trio of hits in loss
Fry went 3-for-4 with two doubles in Friday's 10-3 loss to the Royals.

Advice: Fry is 12-for-40 (.300) over his last 12 contests, adding five doubles and two RBI in that span. That's a bit less all-around production than he was showing earlier in the campaign, but it's still a solid showing. He's now at a .316/.422/.532 slash line with eight home runs, 32 RBI, 28 runs scored, four stolen bases and 13 doubles through 60 games. Fry has mostly seen time at designated hitter and catcher recently, but he could also be an option in right field while Will Brennan (ribs) is on the injured list. Rotowire.com Friday, 11:58 pm
