      Ramirez went 2-for-4 with one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Wednesday's 8-0 win over the Mariners.

      Advice: Ramirez has picked up right where he left off following a brief stint on the paternity list. He's gone 4-for-9 with two RBI and two runs scored over two games since he returned. The third baseman continues to do a little bit of everything for the Guardians with a .275/.333/.531 slash line, 18 home runs, 12 steals, 64 RBI and 53 runs scored through 68 contests this season.     • Remains perfect in save conversions
      Yates earned a save against the Mets on Wednesday, striking out one batter in a perfect ninth inning.

      Advice: Yates protected a two-run Texas lead in the top of the ninth frame, retiring the side in order on 16 pitches. The veteran reliever is a perfect 11-for-11 in save chances this season -- no closer in baseball has converted more saves without blowing any opportunities.       Cole did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's 7-6 loss to the Orioles, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk with five strikeouts over four innings.

      Advice: Cole surrendered a run on an RBI double by Ryan O'Hearn in the first inning then settled in over the next three. He allowed a single to Cedric Mullins to open the fifth and was pulled after throwing 62 pitches, but Mullins scored on a home run surrendered by Yankees reliever Ron Marinaccio. Cole maxed out at 68 pitches during his minor-league rehab, so the Yankees appear to be easing him into his return. He touched 97 mph on his fastball and generated six swinging strikes in a solid season debut and will look to build up his workload early next week against the Mets.       Miller gave up five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two over 6.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Rockies on Wednesday.

      Advice: Miller missed over two months with a shoulder injury, and making his return at Coors Field was always going to be a tough task. He left the game with a lead in the seventh inning, but the Dodgers couldn't stay ahead. The 25-year-old right-hander has a 6.00 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 20:9 K:BB over 18 innings through four starts this season. Miller continues to have plenty of upside as a young pitcher supported by a strong offense, but it may take him a few starts to get fully comfortable again in the majors.       Gausman (5-6) took the loss to the Red Sox on Wednesday, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and three walks with four strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

      Advice: Gausman allowed an unearned run in the third inning then surrendered solo home runs in the fourth and fifth. He was pulled after yielding an RBI single with two outs in the sixth and was charged with another run when an inherited runner scored on an RBI single off reliever Tim Mayza. Gausman only generated two swinging strikes on his splitter and has now allowed five or more runs in five of his 15 starts this season.     • Bobby Miller surrenders five runs in return
      Bobby Miller allowed five runs with two strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Rockies on Wednesday.

      Advice: Colorado isn’t exactly the best place to make a return off the injured list. He served up a three-run shot to Michael Toglia in the first inning. Miller then gave up one more run in the fourth before pitching into the seventh. He gave up a leadoff double and was replaced on the mound with one out. The inherited runner came in to score.     • Gerrit Cole allows two runs in four-plus innings
      Gerrit Cole lasted for four-plus innings in his return to the Yankees on Wednesday against the Orioles. He struck out five, walked one, and allowed two earned runs in a loss.

      Advice: Cole was not his sharpest, understandably, in this one. The Orioles are a tough matchup and they made lots of loud contact as Cole struggled with command, especially with his knuckle curve.     • Kirby Yates secures 11th save
      Kirby Yates pitched a clean ninth inning with a strike out in a win over the Mets on Wednesday.

      Advice: Yates worked a pain-free ninth after struggling on Tuesday against this same Mets lineup in a tie game. He’s been one of the best closers in the league since earning the role in April with a sterling 1.03 ERA and 0.91 WHIP. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:53 pm

      Naylor went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Wednesday's 8-0 win over the Mariners.

      Advice: Naylor opened the scoring with an RBI single in the first inning. He then added a two-run home run in the fifth and a solo homer in the seventh. Naylor has hit safely in six of his last seven games, going 10-for-26 with three homers and seven RBI. While Naylor's current .237 average is well below last year's .308 mark, he has a .272 expected batting average and is just one homer shy of tying his career high of 20 in 2022.
