    • Out of lineup again Friday
Chourio is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Cubs.

Advice: It's the first time this season that he's been held out of the lineup in consecutive games. Since April 16, Chourio is slashing just .140/.196/.233 while striking out at a 38.3 percent rate. Jake Bauers and Sal Frelick are in the corner outfield spots for Milwaukee on Friday. • Struggles in Baltimore
Rodon (2-2) took the loss Thursday against the Orioles, allowing seven runs (six earned) on eight hits over four innings. He struck out six.

Advice: After shutting out Baltimore through the first two innings, Rodon allowed three solo home runs between the third and fourth innings before the O's put up a four spot in the fifth, forcing the Yankees to turn to the bullpen. It's a deflating effort from Rodon, who'd allowed just one run over 13 innings in his previous two starts. His ERA is up to 3.68 on the season with a 1.28 WHIP and 36:14 K:BB in seven starts. Rodon will look to bounce back in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week against the Astros. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:02 pm

    • Solid in season debut
Bradish did not factor into the decision Thursday against the Yankees, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Bradish had to contend with some traffic Thursday, though he'd ultimately hold the Yankees to one run on Anthony Rizzo's two-out RBI single in the third inning. Overall, it was an encouraging debut from Bradish after he'd missed the first month of the season with a partially torn UCL -- he averaged 95 mph with his sinker while inducing six whiffs on his slider, both in line with his numbers from last year. It remains to be seen how much deeper the Orioles will allow Bradish to work in his next start, which is tentatively scheduled for a road matchup with the Nationals. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:07 pm
    • Juan Soto hits first triple with Yankees in loss
Juan Soto went 2-for-4 with a triple in a loss Thursday to the Orioles.

Advice: A day after Soto stole two bases, Soto showed off his wheels again with his first triple of the season, and first as a member of the Yankees. Speed kills. Soto also singled and has forged an outstanding slash of .331/.441/.589 to begin his campaign. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:05 pm

    • Kyle Bradish allows one over 4 2/3 in season debut
Kyle Bradish went 4 2/3 innings while allowing one run on four hits in his start against the Yankees on Thursday.

Advice: Bradish was making his season debut after missing the first month of the year due to his elbow ailment, and while he wasn’t able to get the needed outs to qualify for the win, it’s fair to call this a successful outing. The 27-year-old allowed four hits and two walks, but he was able to fan five while landing 51-of-84 pitches for strikes. Bradish will get a chance to work deeper in a friendly matchup against the Nationals next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:04 pm
    • Carlos Rodón struggles, allows three HRs in loss
Carlos Rodón allowed seven runs — six earned — in four innings while picking up a loss Thursday to the Orioles.

Advice: Rodón gave up three homers in the loss, and he also allowed eight hits. No walks and no strikeouts, but it’s tough to take much solace in those numbers because see above. The left-hander was excellent in his previous two starts, but the ever-so-tough Baltimore lineup was one he wasn’t up to the task against, at least that was the case for Thursday. He’ll have a chance to rebound next week against Houston. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:04 pm

    • Swipes two bags Wednesday
Soto went 1-for-3 with a walk and a pair of stolen bases in Wednesday's 2-0 win against the Orioles.

Advice: Soto made the most of his two times reaching base, swiping a bag after singling in the first inning and another after walking in the sixth. He was also caught trying to steal third following his second theft. Soto tied a career-high mark with 12 stolen bases last season, and he's on pace to surpass that through 32 games this year. The star outfielder has nabbed four thefts so far while adding a .325/.439/.575 slash line, eight home runs, 25 RBI and 22 runs. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:37 am

    • O’s activate Kyle Bradish for Thursday start
Orioles activated RHP Kyle Bradish from the 15-day injured list.

Advice: Bradish will make his long-awaited season debut on Thursday afternoon against the divisional-rival Yankees in the final game of a four-game series. The 27-year-old right-hander has been on the injured list since the start of the regular season and comes back at a good time as the team had to place Grayson Rodriguez on the injured list on Wednesday. If he’s not already on a roster, fantasy managers should pick Bradish up as he can be a valuable starter in all formats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:10 am
    • Activated, starting Thursday
The Orioles reinstated Bradish (elbow) from the 15-day injured list and will have him start Thursday's game against the Yankees at Camden Yards.

Advice: Baltimore lost Grayson Rodriguez (shoulder) to the 15-day IL on Wednesday, but they'll add two pitchers back into the rotation this week with Bradish returning Thursday and John Means (elbow) expected to take the hill Friday or Saturday in Cincinnati. Bradish was diagnosed with a sprained UCL in his pitching elbow upon reporting to spring training, but he was able to avoid surgery and has seemingly bounced back from the injury after a lengthy rest and rehab period. He closed his three-start minor-league rehab assignment on a high note last Friday with Triple-A Norfolk, striking out six over five innings and allowing one run on five hits and one walk. He built up to 77 pitches in that outing and should have only a light workload restriction in place Thursday when he makes his 2024 Orioles debut. Bradish emerged as arguably the Orioles' top starter in his second MLB season in 2023, logging a 2.83 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 168:44 K:BB across 168.2 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:07 am
