      Bryan Woo (hamstring) threw a 20-pitch bullpen session over the weekend.

      Advice: Mariners manager Scott Servais told reporters Woo will throw a more extended side session this week. The 24-year-old righty hit the injured list last week with a right hamstring strain, but the fact that he’s already throwing is a sign that he’s not going to require a lengthy absence. The 25-year-old fantasy stalwart has been sizzling-hot at the dish over the last few weeks, batting .365 (23-for-63) with six homers and 20 RBI over his last 15 games.       Campusano (thumb) went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in his first rehab game with Single-A Lake Elsinore on Monday.

      Advice: Campusano has missed just over a week of action with a thumb injury, so he shouldn't need too many rehab at-bats before being activated. Kyle Higashioka is coming off an eight-homer June, so it's possible Campusano -- who has just a .588 OPS since May 1 -- will play second fiddle at catcher for the Padres upon his activation.       Nolan Jones went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and a walk versus the Brewers on Monday.

      Advice: The second hit also would have been at least a double, but it hit first base umpire Brian O’Nora on its way down the first base line, resulting in a single. Jones has had issues with strikeouts since coming off the IL last month, but he’s hitting the ball harder than he did in April and drawing a bunch of walks (12 in 15 games).       Wood went 1-for-4 with a walk in Monday's 9-7 loss to the Mets.

      Advice: The 21-year-old recorded a hit in his first major-league plate appearance, knocking a single to left off David Peterson. Wood later worked a five-pitch walk in the 10th inning. After slashing .353/.463/.595 in 231 plate appearances at Triple-A, the Washington outfielder appears set to play every day in left field for the Nationals. Wood has all the tools to be a fantasy star, as he reached double-digits in both homers and steals -- 10 apiece -- with 37 RBI and 44 runs scored in 52 games with Rochester before his call-up.       James Wood singled and walked in five plate appearances in his major league debut Monday against the Mets.

      Advice: The single came in his first big-league bat, as he managed to power a two-strike fastball through the left side of the infield (it helped a great deal that, because the Mets were shifted, it was Mark Vientos trying to field the grounder, rather than Francisco Lindor).       Blue Jays manager John Schneider said that Guerrero (finger) wasn't available to pinch hit Monday versus the Astros after being a late scratch from the lineup, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Guerrero was initially in Monday's lineup but had to be scratched after he "wasn't comfortable squeezing the bat" pregame, per Schneider. The fourth and fifth fingers on his right hand remain swollen as a result of a hit-by-pitch in Sunday's game against the Yankees.       Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said that Scott will be recalled from Triple-A Syracuse to start Wednesday versus the Nationals, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: While Mendoza didn't commit to Scott making additional starts in the majors beyond Wednesday, the opportunity would seem to be there for the rookie right-hander after Tylor Megill was optioned to Triple-A on Sunday.
