    • Making another Triple-A start
Skenes' next start will come Sunday at Triple-A Indianapolis against Buffalo.

Advice: Skenes got stretched out to six innings and 75 pitches in his last outing with Indianapolis on Tuesday, leading some to wonder whether his next start might come with the Pirates. However, he is set to remain with Indy for at least one more turn. Skenes has been utterly dominant against Triple-A hitters, posting a 0.39 ERA with 41 strikeouts over 23 innings. Fantasy managers shouldn't have to wait too much longer for the top prospect's major-league debut. Rotowire.com Today, 9:53 am

    • Resumes running, hitting
Hays (calf) said that he's been able to engage in a running program the past few days and plans to hit Thursday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: Manager Brandon Hyde implied Monday that Hays had made limited progress in his recovery from a left calf strain, but the outfielder struck a much more optimistic tone when he talked about where he stood in his rehab program Thursday. Hays admitted he's unsure whether he'll need a rehab assignment prior to being activated from the 10-day injured list, as the Orioles could just allow him to get some competitive at-bats in during simulated games. Regardless, Hays likely won't be in store for an everyday role whenever he's activated, as rookie Colton Cowser appears to have established himself as Baltimore's top option in left field. • Set for second rehab outing
Bradley (pectoral) will throw his second rehab outing with Triple-A Durham on Saturday or Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Bradley was sharp in his first rehab appearance and ramped up to 65 pitches while completing five scoreless innings of work. If he can increase his workload during his weekend start, it's possible that he could be activated from the injured list by mid-May. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:34 pm

    • Cleared to start Saturday
Glasnow (hand) is scheduled to start Saturday's game against Atlanta at Dodger Stadium, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Advice: Glasnow experienced hand cramps in his most recent start April 27, but he'll be ready to go on six days' rest in a series featuring two of the National League's top teams. The right-hander has gotten off to an excellent start to his tenure with the Dodgers, going 5-1 with a 2.72 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 53:12 K:BB across 43 innings through seven outings. • Getting routine day off
Nimmo is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs.

Advice: According to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com, manager Carlos Mendoza said pregame that Nimmo is getting a routine day off after having started in all but one of the Mets' first 29 games of the season. Tyrone Taylor will replace Nimmo in left field and atop the batting order. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:20 pm

    • Yandy Díaz goes 0-for-5 in loss to Brewers
Yandy Díaz finished 0-for-5 in the loss to the Brewers on Wednesday.

Advice: Díaz did reach on an error, but he was credited with four groundouts and one flyout today. His groundball rate is currently checking in at 62%, well above his already problematic career mark of 53%. Hopefully, it’s something he can straightened out in the next few weeks. If not, it looks like we’re back to the Díaz of 2019-21, when he was a valuable major leaguer but one without much to offer in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:49 pm

    • Kodai Senga tabbed for live bullpen on Saturday
Kodai Senga (shoulder) is scheduled to throw another live bullpen session on Saturday.

Advice: Senga faced live hitters on Monday without any issues, and he’ll repeat the process once again on Saturday. If all goes well there, he could be ready to begin a minor league rehab assignment. Barring any setbacks, he plans to be ready to rejoin the Mets’ rotation as soon as he’s eligible to do so on May 27. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:31 pm

    • Nolan Gorman goes 0-for-3 against Tigers
Nolan Gorman went 0-for-3 in the loss to the Tigers on Wednesday, dropping his average to .190.

Advice: Statcast thinks Gorman has been fairly unlucky, but his strikeout rate remains terrible and he’s not hitting the ball hard as consistently as he did last year. The Cardinals should stick with him for now, but they might consider sending him down if he’s still not hitting once Tommy Edman returns. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:08 pm

    • Gets Wednesday off
O'Hoppe is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: O'Hoppe will get the afternoon off after he had started behind the plate each of the past three games. Matt Thaiss will handle catching duties for the Angels in the series finale. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:40 pm
