    • Stuck with loss Tuesday
Lopez (2-1) took the loss Tuesday against the Mariners, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings.

Advice: Lopez struck out the side to begin his night en route to tying his season-high in strikeouts. He pitched well overall, but there was not much he could do with Atlanta not scoring until the eighth inning. His one costly mistake came in the third after allowing a two-run blast to Jorge Polanco and the Mariners would tack on a third run in the fourth, which proved to be the deciding run in the game. Tuesday was the first time Lopez had failed to pitch at least six innings and surrender more than a run. He's now given up a home run in back-to-back outings. Still, the 30-year-old has been nothing short of spectacular through the first month, posting a 1.50 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 31:10 K:BB in 30 innings. He currently lines up for a meeting with the Red Sox early next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:37 am

    • Reynaldo López allows three over five in loss
Reynaldo López allowed three runs in five innings while picking up a loss Tuesday to the Mariners.

Advice: López allowed six hits over those five frames, and he struck out seven while walking three with Josh Rojas getting all three free passes. The 30-year-old pitched better than his line suggested, but a two-run homer by Jorge Polanco turned an excellent outing into a shaky one from a fantasy perspective. Lopez still has an excellent 1.50 ERA, and he should be in fantasy lineups against Boston next week. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:47 pm

    • Reed Garrett gets fifth win against Cardinals
Reed Garrett got his fifth win after allowing only an unearned run between the 10th and 11th innings Sunday against the Cardinals.

Advice: The automatic runner scored in the 11th, but that didn’t prove to be a problem, since the Mets came back with three in the bottom of the inning. Garrett is now tied for the major league lead in wins with Tyler Glasnow, Ranger Suárez and fellow reliever A.J. Minter. He has a 27/6 K/BB ratio in 14 2/3 innings. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:36 pm

    • Wins in scoreless outing
Leclerc (2-2) earned the win Friday, striking out two over a scoreless eighth inning against Cincinnati.

Advice: Leclerc, who earlier this season lost the closer's job, has reclaimed the confidence of manager Bruce Bochy. Friday's outing was his fifth consecutive scoreless appearance, with the last three coming in the eighth inning of games. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:22 am

    • Awarded fourth win
Garrett (4-0) got the win over the Giants on Wednesday, allowing one run on two hits and one walk over two innings while striking out four.

Advice: Garrett replaced Sean Manaea with two outs in the bottom of the fifth and retired Jorge Soler on the first pitch to end the inning. The reliever then needed only 12 pitches to get through the next frame before surrendering a solo homer to open the seventh. It marked the first earned run allowed on the season for Garrett, who is now tied for the major-league lead in wins. The right-hander has been outstanding out of the bullpen for New York thus far, posting a 0.71 ERA to go along with a 25:4 K:BB. Rotowire.com Thursday, 5:11 am

    • Reynaldo López twirls seven-inning gem vs. Fish
Reynaldo López allowed one run over seven innings on Wednesday in a no-decision against the Marlins.

Advice: López authored yet another dominant performance, this time against a floundering Marlins lineup, piling up six strikeouts and only allowing five baserunners over seven frames. Yet, he was forced to settle for a no-decision after Atlanta’s bullpen coughed up a two-run lead in the ninth inning. The 30-year-old converted reliever has been a revelation this season, allowing one earned run or fewer and completing six frames in four consecutive starts to kick off his Braves debut. He’ll bring a microscopic 0.72 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 24/8 K/BB ratio across 25 innings (four starts) into a road tilt on Tuesday against the Mariners in Seattle. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:30 pm

    • Blown save spoils would-be win
Lopez didn't factor into the decision Wednesday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks across seven innings against Miami. He struck out six.

Advice: Lopez delivered another quality start Wednesday, exiting the contest with Atlanta ahead 3-1. However, Raisel Iglesias surrendered a pair of runs in the ninth inning to send the game to extra innings, spoiling Lopez's chance at a third straight win. Lopez has been one of the more surprising stars of the 2024 campaign, owning a 0.72 ERA and 0.88 WHIP in four starts (25.0 innings). He's slated to make his next start in Seattle during a three-game series early next week. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:21 pm
