      Advice: The veteran Royal crushed a titanic 447-foot solo homer off Triston McKenzie in the second inning to tie the game at 1-1. Perez later tallied an additional RBI with a single to drive Maikel Garcia home in the third.       Advice: Perez has hit safely in four consecutive games. He’s seen his average drop from .321 at the end of May to .283. The Royals lineup desperately needs his bat to wake up again.       Advice: Donovan's eight-game hitting streak ended in the matinee with an 0-for-2 effort, but he bounced back in the nightcap, which was his eighth multi-hit effort in June. The 27-year-old also picked up his second steal of the campaign on his fifth attempt. Donovan is at a .270/.337/.419 slash line with eight home runs, 40 RBI and 35 runs scored across 74 contests. He's seen a majority of his playing time in left field but has also featured at second base, third base, right field and designated hitter as he continues to show some utility skills.       Nolan Jones went 1-for-2 with a double on Wednesday in the Rockies’ loss to the Astros.

      Advice: It’s been a tough season for Jones on the heels of last year’s unexpected breakthrough campaign, but he’s starting to show some signs of life recently, hitting .279 (12-for-43) with one homer and one steal over his last 15 games.       Perez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 4-1 win over the Marlins.

      Advice: Perez had gone 0-for-14 over his previous four games, and he'd gone seven contests without an extra-base hit. Both droughts ended when the catcher went back-to-back with Vinnie Pasquantino in the fourth inning, with Perez's homer serving as the decisive run. A poor June -- 11-for-57 (.157) over 20 games -- has taken some of the shine off of what was a strong start to the year for Perez. The 27-year-old is up to a .269/.333/.420 slash line with eight home runs, 39 RBI, 35 runs scored, 17 doubles, one triple and one stolen base over 72 contests.       Advice: Perez’ home run was his 11th of the season and second in the month of June. Perez has cooled off this month. He’s 11-for-70 (.157) in June with two home runs and five RBI.
