    • Ohtani has game-winning single on Sunday
Shohei Ohtani went 2-for-4 with the game-winning RBI in a 3-2 win over the Reds in 10 innings on Sunday.

Advice: With the game tied in the 10th, Ohtani laced a 100.3 mph single off of Alexis Diaz to score Jason Heyward and give the Dodgers the win. It was Ohtani’s 33rd RBI of the season to go along with a stellar .353/.423/.658 triple slash. He was likely underdrafted in fantasy leagues because he was listed at just UTIL in most formats. • Jordan Montgomery allows four runs in no-decision
Jordan Montgomery pitched decently in a no-decision against the Tigers on Sunday afternoon, giving up four runs on five hits over his six-plus innings of work.

Advice: The left-hander struck out three batters on the afternoon while issuing a pair of free passes. He served up a solo homer to Spencer Torkelson in the third inning, then kept the Tigers at bat until an RBI single by Javier Baez in the fifth. They tacked on another run in the sixth inning, then Montgomery issued a leadoff walk in the seventh before exiting, and that run came around to score as well. He got eight whiffs on 92 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 25 percent. He’ll look to improve upon his 4.98 ERA and 1.37 WHIP when he toes the slab against the Marlins on Saturday. • Matt Manning hit hard by Diamondbacks on Sunday
Matt Manning was hit hard in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks on Sunday afternoon, giving up four runs on 10 hits over his five innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander also issued three walks on the day while recording only one strikeout. Woof. The Diamondbacks scratched out a pair of runs in the opening inning, then tacked on single runs in the second and fourth despite a parade of baserunners throughout the game. Manning got just four swings and misses on 86 pitches on the afternoon, posting a minuscule CSW of 21 percent. He’ll carry a 4.88 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and a 23/12 K/BB ratio (27 2/3 innings) into Friday’s matchup against the Blue Jays. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago

    • Hunter Greene looks good against LAD
Hunter Greene allowed two runs on four hits in 6 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Sunday.

Advice: Greene struck out eight and walked just two on the day. He also posted a 35 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW as the four-seam fastball carved up the Dodgers on Sunday. Greene also allowed just one extra-base hit, but it happened to be a home run to Andy Pages. All of that pre-season talk of Greene adding another pitch was much ado about nothing, as Greene threw just eight splitters on the day and earned one whiff, but his slider command has improved and Greene has a 3.22 ERA on the season heading into a rematch against these Dodgers next week. • Landon Knack is solid in spot start
Landon Knack allowed one run on three hits over 4 2/3 in a no-decision against the Reds.

Advice: Knack also struck out five and walked one on the day. He was called on for a spot start with the Dodgers wanting to push Yoshinobu Yamamoto back to Monday. Knack delivered with a 36 percent whiff rate and 31 percent CSW. His four-seam and curveball carved up the Reds all afternoon, and he now has a 2.61 ERA on the year. He’ll likely head back to Triple-A, but if there is ever a full-time opening in the Dodgers’ rotation, Knack would certainly be worth an add. Rotoworld 25 minutes ago

    • Dakota Hudson fades in 5th vs Giants
Dakota Hudson allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits in 4 2/3 in a loss to the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Hudson had allowed no runs on two hits through his first four innings and then bad luck struck in the fifth. After walking the lead-off hitter, he allowed two infield singles, a fielder’s choice, and an error, which scored three runs and chased him from the game. He didn’t miss many bats with a 14 percent whiff rate and 22 percent CSW and remains a low-upside fantasy option that you should not start at home against the Phillies next week. • Jordan Hicks’ velocity is way down in win
Jordan Hicks allowed one run on three hits in five innings in a win over the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: The big news here is that Hicks averaged just 91.7 mph on his sinker after averaging 95.3 mph on the year. In fact, he was down 2.5 mph or more on every single one of his pitches in this start, which is part of the reason why he struck out just one batter. Of course, because he was facing the Rockies, he wasn’t saddled with that much damage. It will be interesting to hear what the Giants have to say about the performance or if it was just an off night for the oft-injured right-hander. Provided he’s healthy, he would have another good start lined up against the Mets next week. Rotoworld 47 minutes ago

    • Carlos Rodón goes six in defeating former team
Carlos Rodón pitched six innings of two-run ball and struck out six Sunday as the Yankees topped the White Sox 7-2.

Advice: Rodón got 23 missed swings today, with seven of those coming on the 18 changeups he threw. Rodón had been throwing the changeup just six percent of the time this season, and if he can continue to get results with that pitch, he’ll be considerably more dangerous. As is, Rodón is already 5-2 with a 3.27 ERA. Still, his peripherals haven’t backed up the ERA to date. Rotoworld Today, 2:50 pm

    • Chris Flexen pounded for seven runs by Yankees
Chris Flexen was tagged for seven runs in four-plus innings by the Yankees on Sunday.

Advice: Flexen got Yankee Stadiumed in a big way; the three-run homer he gave up to Jon Berti was a homer in two ballparks and Aaron Judge’s two-run shot, projected at 339 feet, was an out in every other ballpark. That’s not to say Flexen would have been good in another location, but it wouldn’t have been this ugly. Rotoworld Today, 2:50 pm
