• Gives up two homers in loss
Brown (1-3) took the loss to the Reds on Saturday, allowing three runs on three hits and one walk while striking out three over four innings.

Advice: Brown gave up multiple home runs in a game for the first time in his young career. Jeimer Candelario took him deep in the first inning and then TJ Friedl got him for the go-ahead homer in the third. The rookie right-hander has now given up eight runs in his last two starts after a stellar showing of seven no-hit innings against the Brewers on May 28. Brown will take a 3.58 ERA into his next start, currently slated for next weekend against the Cardinals. Rotowire.com Today, 6:52 pm

  • Won't play Sunday
Devers was removed from Saturday's 6-1 loss to the White Sox with left knee soreness and won't play in Sunday's series finale, Sean McAdam of MassLive.com reports. He went 0-for-2 with a walk before exiting.

Advice: Manager Alex Cora said postgame that Devers reported soreness in his left knee -- the same knee that forced Devers to miss nearly a week in late April -- which led to Devers' removal in the eighth inning. Cora will play it safe with the stud third baseman, giving him a day off Sunday. The Red Sox have a team off day Monday, so Devers' return to the lineup would come Tuesday against Philadelphia at the earliest. Rotowire.com Today, 6:14 pm

  • Rafael Devers leaves game with sore knee Saturday
Rafael Devers was removed from Saturday’s battle against the White Sox due to soreness in his knee.

Advice: Red Sox’ manager Alex Cora told reporters after the game that, “His knee is bothering him.... hopefully it’s nothing worse than a little bit of soreness.” Devers said after the game that he won’t play on Sunday, but is hoping to return to action on Tuesday. For fantasy managers relying on him for next week, it’d be wise to have a contingency option in place in the event that Devers winds up missing a few games. Rotoworld Today, 4:35 pm

  • Brown allows three runs in four innings Saturday
Ben Brown allowed three runs in four innings and took the loss against the Reds on Saturday.

Advice: Brown gave up three hits, walked one and struck out three. He allowed five runs in his last start, which was also against the Reds. Brown has completed five innings in only three of his eight starts for the Cubs this year. He’s still looking for his first win as a starting pitcher. Outside of his performance on May 28th against the Brewers when he went seven innings, allowed no runs and recorded 10 strikeouts, Brown’s been fairly pedestrian when starting. The 24-year-old right-hander is tentatively scheduled to face the Cardinals at home next week.

  • Francisco Lindor reaches three times in London opener
Francisco Lindor went 2-for-4 with a walk on Saturday in the Mets’ loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Lindor was one of the few bright spots for the Mets during Saturday’s London Series opener as he wound up reaching base safely in ftrhee of his five plate appearances. The 30-year-old shorstop is batting .300 (6-for-20) with one homer and one steal in six games since June 1. Rotoworld Today, 1:04 pm
  • Sitting Saturday
Cowser is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Cowser started in the series opener Friday, going 1-for-4 with three strikeouts. The lefty-hitting Cedric Mullins will start in center field Saturday and bat ninth against Rays right-hander Taj Bradley. Rotowire.com Today, 11:00 am

  • Mashes another homer
Santander went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 6-3 win over the Rays.

Advice: Santander's slow start to the season stood out compared to most of the rest of the Orioles, but he's warmed up significantly. Over his last 15 games, the outfielder is hitting .291 (16-for-55) with six homers and 11 RBI. He's homered in four of his last seven contests and now has a .227/.306/.472 slash line with 13 long balls, 36 RBI, 33 runs scored and no stolen bases over 58 games this season. • Colton Cowser sitting against righty on Saturday
Colton Cowser is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Cowser has posted some one the best hard-hit percentages of any rookie this season, but the Orioles overabundance of quality options has led to a decrease in playing time of late. The 24-year-old has started just four of Baltimore’s last seven contests for matchup reasons. It’ll be lefties Cedric Mullins in center field and Kyle Stowers in left field on Saturday afternoon with righty Kevin Gausman toeing the rubber for Toronto. Rotoworld Today, 9:52 am

  • Alex Bregman reaches three times Friday in return
Alex Bregman went 2-for-4 with a walk on Friday in his return to the Astros’ lineup.

Advice: Bregman didn’t skip a beat, reaching base safely in three of his five plate appearances following a brief one-game absence due to left hand soreness. The 30-year-old impending free agent seems like he’ll be good to go moving forward without any lingering concerns. Rotoworld Today, 4:22 am
