    Colton Cowser singled, doubled, walked and drove in a pair of runs on Friday night as the Orioles crushed the Mariners.

    Advice: Cowser clubbed a two-run double off of Bryce Miller in the first inning, extending the Orioles’ early advantage to 4-0.     Advice: Stott has started 39 of the team’s 44 games so far this season, so this is just a routine day off. Edmundo Sosa will start at shortstop and bat eight while Whit Merrifield will play second base. Since Trea Turner went down with an injury, Merrifield has gotten a lot more playing time, but he’s hitting just .156 in 10 games in May, so there hasn’t been much to write home about.
