• Homer, steal in win
Lindor went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, a hit-by-pitch and a stolen base in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Lindor opened the scoring with his third-inning blast. The shortstop has been showcasing all of his skills in June, going 21-for-76 (.276) with four homers, five steals and 10 RBI over 19 contests this month. It's a strong turnaround for the 30-year-old, who is slashing .241/.310/.433 with 13 homers, 39 RBI, 49 runs scored, 20 doubles and 13 steals through 76 games overall. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:16 pm
  • Provides offense Sunday
Morel went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Mets.

Advice: Morel provided all of Chicago's offense with his 15th home run of the season in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old has hit 15 or more homers in each of his three MLB seasons to date, including a career high 26 long balls last year in 107 games. Assuming he stays healthy, Morel could surpass that figure in 2024 as the team is still a few games shy of the season's midpoint. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:27 pm

  • Francisco Lindor homers, swipes bag to lead Mets
Francisco Lindor clobbered a two-run homer and stole a base on Sunday night, helping to lead the Mets to a 5-2 victory over the Cubs in Chicago.

Advice: Lindor opened the scoring in the ballgame with a 378-foot (101.4 mph EV) two-run blast after an eight-pitch battle with Javier Assad in the third inning. He was also hit by a pitch in the fifth inning and swiped second base before getting stranded at third. The 30-year-old shortstop finished the evening 1-for-4 and is now hitting .241/.310/.433 with 13 homers, 39 RBI and 13 stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:22 pm
  • Christopher Morel slugs two-run homer in loss
Christopher Morel slugged a two-run homer on Sunday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Cubs past the Mets.

Advice: The Cubs weren’t able to get anything going over six innings against Luis Severino, but they started to battle back as soon as he exited. Morel finally got them on the board with a 420-foot (106.9 mph EV) two-run blast off of Dedniel Nunez in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old slugger finished the night 1-for-4 and is now hitting .203/.304/.395 with 15 homers, 45 RBI and seven stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:21 pm

  • Throws eight shutout innings
Lopez (7-6) allowed two hits and one walk while striking out 14 over eight shutout innings to earn the win Sunday over the Athletics.

Advice: Lopez retired the first 17 batters he faced before Lawrence Butler's sixth-inning single. This was Lopez's first scoreless outing of the season as well as his longest start, and the 14 strikeouts were a season high. He'd given up 14 runs over 13 innings across his first three starts in June. Even with this gem, Lopez has a 5.11 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 101:19 K:BB through 88 innings across 16 starts this year. Considering he's posted a career-worst 1.6 HR/9, it's likely a fair amount of his struggles have come from bad luck with the long ball, as the rest of his underlying numbers are in line with his usual level of performance. Lopez is lined up to make his next start at Seattle. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:59 pm

  • Knocks four hits
Bregman went 4-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's win over Baltimore.

Advice: Bregman turned in a perfect day at the plate, starting with a double and a run scored during Houston's four-run first inning. It was his third multi-hit performance over his last four games. He's gone 17 straight games without a home run, but he's hitting .354 (23-for-65) during that span. Bregman's season slash line is up to .257/.318/.414 with 33 runs scored and 26 extra-base hits through 74 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:21 pm

  • Pablo López strikes out 14 in victory over A’s
Pablo López delivered his finest start of the season on Sunday, racking up 14 strikeouts over eight innings of shutout baseball in a victory over the Athletics.

Advice: López allowed just two hits — both of them singles — and one walk on the brilliant afternoon. The 28-year-old hurler bounced back in a huge way after being shelled by the Rays his last time out, looking like the star hurler that we saw dominating on a nightly basis for the Twins during the 2023 campaign. He piled up 19 swings and misses on 102 pitches in the contest — 10 of those on his fastball alone — while posting a CSW of 31 percent. He’ll see if he can build off of this start and further improve upon his 5.11 ERA and 1.17 WHIP when he takes the mound against the Mariners in Seattle on Saturday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:18 pm

  • Bregman has four hits, two 2Bs in win
Alex Bregman went 4-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in an 8-1 win over the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: Bregman had two doubles and two singles on the day but also came away with zero RBI. Still, the consistent contact is nice to see, and the veteran is now 28-for-77 in 19 games in June for a .364 batting average. That’ll most certainly play considering he’s on pace for yet another 20-plus home run season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:51 pm

  • Sitting Sunday
Heim is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Royals.

Advice: Heim will sit Sunday after going 0-for-4 with one run, one RBI and four walks over the first two games of the series. Andrew Knizner will start behind home plate and bat eighth against Kansas City right-hander Alec Marsh. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:58 am
