    Jansen pitched 1.1 perfect innings to earn the save in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Yankees.

    Advice: Greg Weissert was shaky in the eighth inning, but Jansen was able to get the last out of the frame with runners on the corners. The Red Sox added some insurance in the bottom of the eighth, and Jansen slammed the door in the ninth.     Nick Gonzales homered and drove home two runs in a loss to the Rockies on Saturday.

  • Kenley Jansen locks down four-out save on Saturday
    Kenley Jansen picked up his 11th save of the season on Saturday night, recording the final four outs against the Yankees.

    Advice: Jansen came on to put out a fire in the eighth inning with two men on and two outs with the Red Sox clinging to a two-run advantage. He got Anthony Volpe to fly out to right field to end the threat — then returned to work a perfect ninth inning to close it out.     Advice: Another game of Ozuna showing up as the best player for Atlanta. The 33-year-old now has 20 home runs and 62 RBI on the season in what has been a pretty spectacular start to the year.   • Sharp in seventh win
    Imanaga (7-1) picked up the win in Saturday's 5-1 victory over the Cardinals, allowing one run on four hits over seven innings. He struck out six without walking a batter.

    Advice: The 30-year-old rookie delivered his eighth quality start in his first 13 big-league outings on 103 pitches (69 strikes), with the only run against Imanaga coming after a leadoff double by Alec Burleson in the fourth inning.     Darvish (groin) threw a bullpen session Friday, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
