    Darvish (groin) is scheduled to return from the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday's game against the Nationals, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Darvish will come off the IL to make his first start for the Padres since May 29 after a sore left groin resulted in a three-plus-week stay on the shelf. The 37-year-old made a minor-league rehab start with High-A Fort Wayne this past Wednesday, but since he only got up to 49 pitches, he'll be operating under some sort of workload restriction against the Nationals.     Advice: Darvish struggled in a minor-league rehab start with High-A Fort Wayne on Wednesday, allowing six runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out three batters over 3.1 innings. He threw only 49 pitches in that outing, but the Padres nonetheless appear intent on moving him back into the rotation for his next appearance. It hasn't yet been announced when Darvish will make that start, but given the typical time between outings, it's logical to expect Monday or Tuesday versus Washington to be the target date.   • Crushed for 10 runs in second loss
    Imanaga (7-2) took the loss to the Mets on Friday, allowing 10 runs on 11 hits and one walk with three strikeouts over three-plus innings.

    Advice: Imanaga was hit hard early and often, surrendering six runs on three home runs in the first two innings and another run in the third. He was unable to record an out in the fourth frame and was charged with three more runs, resulting in the worst outing of his major-league career. In total, Imanaga allowed 11 hard-hit balls, and the velocity on each of his pitches was at least one mph below his season averages.     Shota Imanaga was tagged for 10 runs and 11 hits in 3 1/3 innings by the Mets on Friday.

    Advice: With his velocity down 1-2 mph on all of his pitches, Imanaga was crushed today, giving up three homers and 11 hard-hit balls in all. He was effective in his previous two starts, but this makes three out of five outings in which he’s struggled; he’s allowed 21 earned runs in those five outings after giving up a total of five in his first nine starts. The 37-year-old veteran righty made it through Wednesday’s minor league rehab outing for High-A Fort Wayne without any issues and is on track to return next week.     Advice: Peralta gave up six runs over 5.1 innings in his previous start, but he bounced back with one of his best outings of the season. This is the second time he's kept runs off the board through 15 starts this year, and it's his sixth quality start. Peralta is at a 4.06 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 106:29 K:BB through 82 innings.     Advice: Peralta bounced back after a six-run outing to make his best start of the season on Wednesday. He held the Angels scoreless over six innings, striking out eight batters on 18 whiffs. He scattered three hits and two walks, tossing 60-of-101 pitches for strikes. The 28-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 4.06 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and a 106/29 K/BB ratio across 82 innings.
