    Volpe went 1-for-5 with a run and two stolen bases Friday in an 8-1 victory versus the Red Sox.

    Advice: Volpe made the most of his fifth-inning single, as he proceeded to steal both second and third base before coming home on an Alex Verdugo double. The second-year shortstop is up to 15 thefts (on 18 attempts) this season, tied for 13th in the league. Volpe's power is down in comparison to his rookie campaign, but he's reduced his strikeout rate from 27.8 percent to 21.3 percent, which has helped produce a much-improved .271/.329/.414 slash line.     Candelario went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run and two RBI in Friday's 6-5 win over the Brewers.

    Advice: Candelario belted a two-run home run in the fifth inning to help the Reds overcome a sloppy day in the field (five errors) and on the mound (eight walks). The home run was his third in the last two games and sixth during the month of June. After an inconsistent first two months, Candelario's bat is heating up this month.     Joey Ortiz (hamstring) went 0-for-2 with an RBI and also walked three times on Friday in his return to the lineup.

    Advice: Ortiz was back at third base and batting seventh on Friday night agains the Reds following a two-game absence due to right hamstring soreness.   • Slugs seventh homer
    Ramos went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run and two walks in Friday's 8-6 loss to the Angels.

    Advice: Ramos collected his seventh multi-hit effort in 12 games in June. He's also posted five homers, 14 RBI and an 8:15 BB:K over that span. Ramos is up to a .314/.400/.529 slash line with seven long balls, 27 RBI, 14 runs scored and one stolen base over 140 plate appearances this season. He initially worked in the corner outfield spots, but the 24-year-old has started the last seven games in center field as he continues to solidify his place in the majors.   • Jeimer Candelario homers in win over Brewers
    Jeimer Candelario delivered a two-run homer and a double Friday as the Reds edged the Brewers 6-5.

    Heliot Ramos hit a three-run homer and reached four times in a loss to the Angels on Friday.

    Advice: In addition to the three-run homer, Ramos also singled and drew a pair of walks. The 24-year-old has been outstanding in 2024 after struggling in his limited MLB chances in the past, and the four-reach game has him slashing .314/.400/.529 in 121 at-bats.   • Freddie Freeman drives in go-ahead run in eighth
    Freddie Freeman singled in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning to give the Dodgers a 4-3 win over the Royals on Friday.

    Advice: With the score tied at 3-3, Freeman drove in a run with an RBI single to give the Dodgers a 4-3 lead and ultimately the victory. The 34-year-old has now driven in 42 runs, and nine of those have come in the first half of June.     Friedl went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Brewers.

    Advice: Friedl opened the game's scoring with his solo shot in the third inning. He singled and scored in the fifth and knocked in a run during the sixth. Friedl has four home runs this season, all coming over his last 11 games. During that stretch, he's hitting .309 with 12 RBI despite collecting multiple hits only twice.
