• Max Fried keeps Yankees bats at bay
Max Fried allowed one run on six hits in six innings in a win over the Yankees on Sunday.

Advice: It wasn’t a dominant outing for the left-hander, but he allowed just one extra-base hit all day and was able to pitch his way out of any trouble that he found himself in. He induced just seven whiffs on 39 swings for an 18 percent whiff rate and 26 percent CSW, but that’s a pretty solid day against a good Yankees lineup. Fried is now 7-3 with a 3.00 ERA on the year and is set up for a solid start against the Pirates next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:27 pm

  • Pete Fairbanks perfect in earning 11th save
Pete Fairbanks notched his 11th save with a scoreless ninth versus the Pirates on Sunday.

Advice: Fairbanks struck out one while protecting a two-run lead. The closer had allowed single runs in three of his previous four appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:14 pm
  • Picks up seventh win
Fried (7-3) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on six hits over six innings against the Yankees. He struck out four.

Advice: Fried kept the Yankees off the board until a solo run crossed in the sixth on an Anthony Volpe double. Three of the six hits Fried allowed came during the sixth, but a timely double play ended the inning and kept Fried in line for his seventh win. It was Fried's eighth quality start this season in 15 outings and the seventh start in which he's gone at least six while allowing no more than one earned run. He's currently scheduled to next toe the rubber against Pittsburgh when the Pirates head to Atlanta for a weekend set. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:49 pm

  • Max Fried stellar against Yankees in win
Max Fried shut the Yankees out over six innings in a 3-1 win on Sunday. He struck out four without walking a batter.

Advice: Fried was great in this and kept the Yankees off-balance by mixing all five of his pitches. He didn’t throw one individual offering more than 30% of the time and was adept at varying his four-seam fastball, sinker, and curveball early in counts. He’s as steady and stable as they come. • Jarred Kelenic homers in win
Jarred Kelenic went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI on Sunday against the Yankees.

Advice: Kelenic has turned himself into a bit of an engine atop the Braves’ lineup. He has a hit in all eight games he’s led-off and is 11-for-36 overall there. His homer got the Braves’ offense going and a fifth inning sac fly gave them some needed insurance. Most notably, Atlanta felt comfortable with him there against lefty Nestor Cortes. There’s a mild breakout happening here spurned by opportunity. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:06 pm
  • Picks up 11th save
Fairbanks tossed a perfect ninth inning, striking out one to collect a save Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: Fairbanks needed only 11 pitches to close the door on his 11th save. Fairbanks had allowed a run to score in three of his previous four appearances, with Sunday marking the first time in seven appearances he did not allow a baserunner. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:05 pm
  • Jurickson Profar back in lineup Sunday vs. Brewers
Jurickson Profar (knee) is back in the lineup for Sunday’s showdown against the Brewers.

Advice: Profar is back in left field and batting second on Sunday afternoon following a brief one-game absence due to left knee patellar tendinitis that flared up during Friday’s contest. The 31-year-old corner outfielder should be able to manage and play through the issue moving forward. He’s been an unexpected revelation this season for San Diego and is making a serious bid for a spot on the senior circuit’s All-Star Game roster. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:56 am
  • In Sunday's lineup
Profar (knee) will start in left field and bat second Sunday versus the Brewers.

Advice: Profar guaranteed he would return to the starting nine Sunday after missing Saturday's 6-4 win, and he has come through on his promise. The 31-year-old has tallied at least one base hit in each of his last six games, going 7-for-24 with three RBI and three runs scored in that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:54 am
  • Adley Rutschman leading off Sunday vs. southpaw
Adley Rutschman is leading off on Sunday against the Astros.

Advice: Rutschman has been bumped up to the leadoff spot for the first time all season on Sunday afternoon with southpaw Framber Valdez toeing the rubber for Houston. Gunnar Henderson has compiled solid numbers this season against left-handed pitching and will bat cleanup in this one. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:31 am
