      Yandy Diaz went 2-for-4 against the Orioles on Saturday.

      Advice: It was a quiet afternoon for the Rays as they were shutout. Diaz had the only two hits for Tampa Bay. After wining the batting title in the American League last year, he’s hitting just .245 so far this season. Diaz’ .273 BABIP this year is well below his .320 career BABIP.     • Takes loss versus Royals
      Castillo (5-7) took the loss to the Royals on Saturday, allowing five runs on six hits and one walk while striking out four over five innings.

      Advice: Castillo had a tough outing as he gave up a season-high five runs in his seventh loss of the season. His offense gave him the lead two separate times Saturday, but he gave it back each time as he snapped a streak of 10 straight starts allowing two earned runs or fewer. Castillo remains one of the more consistent and durable starters in baseball, he's gone at least five innings in all of his 14 starts and will take a 3.35 ERA into his next outing.     • Luis Castillo struggles in loss to Royals
      Luis Castillo gave up five runs over five innings while allowing four strikeouts against the Royals on Saturday in a loss.

      Advice: Castillo allowed six hits and issued a walk while striking out four. It was easily his worst start since April, as the 31-year-old had gone 10 straight starts while allowing no more than three runs, and only one of those outings saw him give up more than two.     • Chris Bassitt masterful Friday in Bay Area return
      Chris Bassitt struck out seven and allowed one run over eight innings on Friday in a no-decision against the Atletics.

      Advice: Bassit was forced to settle for a no-decision against his former organization in an impressive outing at pitcher-friendly Oakland Coliseum. He gave up only four hits and a pair of walks with a run-scoring ground out from JJ Bleday in the sixth-inning representing the lone tally against him in this one. He generated 15 swinging strikes and finished with a 29 percent CSW. It was a performance that should’ve resulted in a victory, but Toronto’s lineup was only able to muster one run on five hits in a low-scoring tractor pull.       Ryan (4-5) was stuck with the loss Friday against the Pirates, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks over seven innings. He struck out eight.

      Advice: Ryan was excellent Friday, but the Twins couldn't muster any offense against Mitch Keller in an eventual 3-0 defeat. Despite the loss, it was a strong bounce-back effort from Ryan after he allowed five runs in five innings in a loss to Houston in his last outing. The right-hander sports a 3.30 ERA with a 0.97 WHIP and 85:13 K:BB across 79 innings. Ryan's currently in line for a home matchup with the Rockies in his next start.       Bassitt allowed a run on four hits and two walks while striking out seven over eight innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Friday.

      Advice: Bassitt tamed one of his former teams, but reliever Chad Green gave up a walk-off hit in the ninth inning. In his longest outing of the year, Bassitt threw 71 of 102 pitches for strikes. He's limited opponents to one run or fewer in five of his 13 starts this season, pitching to a 3.80 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 70:28 K:BB through 73.1 innings.       Kyle Finnegan tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Braves on Friday.
