    • Homers in win over Giants
Kwan went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Giants.

Advice: Kwan has gone deep in two of his last three games, and he's hit five homers over his last 17 contests while batting .294 (20-for-68) in that span. While he's cooled off from flirting with a .400 batting average in mid-to-late June, he continues to impress with his consistency at the plate. The outfielder has a .365/.421/.542 slash line for the year while adding nine homers, 27 RBI, 52 runs scored and four stolen bases over 61 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:54 pm

    • Shohei Ohtani fills up box score in win Saturday
Shohei Ohtani homered, tripled, walked twice, was hit by a pitch, stole a base and scored a run as the Dodgers triumphed over the Brewers on Saturday evening in Los Angeles.

Advice: Ohtani started the home half of the first inning by working a walk off of Freddy Peralta. He then rode home on Will Smith’s two-run blast. The 30-year-old superstar was hit by a pitch with two outs in the second inning and swiped second base, but the Dodgers were unable to cash him in. He then crushed a two-out triple off of Bryse Wilson in the sixth inning but was stranded there. Ohtani also crushed a 430-foot (109.9 mph EV) solo shot off of Bryan Hudson in the eighth inning that extended the Dodgers’ lead to 5-3. He finished the night 2-for-2 officially and is now hitting .316/.402/.643 with 28 homers, 65 RBI and 18 stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:16 pm

    • Strikes out eight in win
Ryan (6-5) earned the win against the Astros on Saturday, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk with eight strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Advice: Ryan surrendered a run in the third inning and a two-run homer in the fourth while receiving plenty of early run support from his teammates. He generated 15 swinging strikes on 110 pitches and has completed at least five frames in each of his 18 starts this season. On the year, the 28-year-old owns an impressive 3.29 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 118:16 K:BB through 109.1 innings and lines up to face the Giants next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:58 pm

    • Homers, two hits in win
Verdugo went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in a 14-4 win over the Red Sox on Saturday.

Advice: Verdugo hit a two-run home run in the third inning and then singled and scored in the fifth. He hit just .219 with one homer in June but has registered two multi-hit efforts in his past three games and continues to hit in the middle of the Yankees lineup. The outfielder's current .246 average is well below his .277 career mark, but he has contributed 10 home runs, 45 RBI and 42 runs scored across 364 plate appearances in 2024. • Mixed results in no-decision
Cole did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 14-4 win against the Red Sox, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks with eight strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Advice: Cole allowed three runs in a 27-pitch third inning and was pulled in the fifth after surrendering a solo home run to Rafael Devers. The righty generated an impressive 14 swinging strikes and was pushed to 90 pitches for the second consecutive outing, but he labored at times and has now only completed five innings once in his first four starts of the season. The 33-year-old owns a 6.75 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 19:8 K:BB over 17.1 innings and lines up for a road matchup with the Orioles next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:08 pm

    • Diaz picks up eighth save against Pirates Saturday
Edwin Diaz tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Diaz slammed the door on the Pirates to preserve a 5-2 victory for New York. The save was his eighth of the season and first since returning from a 10-game suspension for using an illegal foreign substance. The Mets had the league’s worst bullpen ERA while he was out. The team and fantasy managers are happy to see him back out there. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:32 pm
    • Kwan belts ninth home run in win Saturday
Steven Kwan went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a solo home run against the Giants on Saturday.

Advice: Kwan’s home run was his ninth of the season. He hit a single in the first inning against Kyle Harrison and came around to score on an RBI groundout by Josh Naylor. In the second inning, he homered off Harrison. That’ll do. Kwan is hitting .365 with a .963 OPS and 27 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:58 pm

    • Diaz has three hits, three-run home run in loss
Yandy Diaz went 3-for-3 with a walk, a double, and a three-run home run against the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: Diaz’ home run was his eighth of the season. His three-run shot in the seventh inning off Jacob Latz put the Rays on top 3-2. Diaz is hitting just .270 on the season, but has picked it up lately. He’s 42-for-133 (.315) over his last 31 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:48 pm

    • Joe Ryan strikes out eight in win against Astros
Joe Ryan allowed three runs with eight strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings in a win over the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Ryan pitched two clean frames before a pair of doubles brought a run in to score for Houston in the third. Jon Singleton then hit a two-run homer in the fourth. Ryan worked into the sixth before leaving with the bases loaded and two outs. He struck out eight on the day. The 28-year-old right-hander will take a 3.29 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, and a 118/16 K/BB ratio across 109 1/3 innings into a start against the Giants in San Francisco on Friday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:52 pm
