      Advice: Chirinos struck out five against one walk while allowing six hits. He gave up one run in the first and another two in the third before settling down in the final two frames. Chirinos, 30, has been relatively effective since joining the Miami staff with a 4.19 ERA and 20/5 K/BB over four starts. Heā€™ll likely make a start before the break Friday against the Reds.       Advice: Much has been made of Crochet being on a limited pitch count in his first year as a starter, but he likely wouldnā€™t have gone deep even without said limit. On top of giving up his three runs, he needed 93 pitches to get through those four innings while walking three and striking out five. Crochet has been a heck of a find in 2024, but thereā€™s likely to be an awful lot of three-to-five inning starts in the second half of the campaign. Keep that risk in mind.       Kyle Harrison allowed four runs in 3 1/3 innings and took the loss against the Guardians on Saturday.

      Advice: Harrison gave up four hits, walked four and struck out two. Harrison allowed three runs in the first inning on an RBI groundout, a sacrifice fly and an RBI single. In the second inning, Steven Kwan got him for a solo home run. His ERA is up to 4.24 on the season and the lack of strikeouts make him difficult to trust in fantasy. The 22-year-old left-hander is set to face the Twins at home next weekend.

      Tyler Anderson struck out ten batters over eight scoreless innings in a win over the Cubs on Saturday.

      Advice: Anderson was masterful on Saturday, shutting the Cubs down over eight innings. He scattered three hits and did not walk a batter, tossing 66-of-98 pitches for strikes. Anderson induced an impressive 22 whiffs to strike out ten batters. The 34-year-old left-hander is having an excellent season, posting a 2.81 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and a 7747 K/BB ratio across 112 innings.       Joe Ryan allowed three runs with eight strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings in a win over the Astros on Saturday.

      Advice: Ryan pitched two clean frames before a pair of doubles brought a run in to score for Houston in the third. Jon Singleton then hit a two-run homer in the fourth. Ryan worked into the sixth before leaving with the bases loaded and two outs. He struck out eight on the day. The 28-year-old right-hander will take a 3.29 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, and a 118/16 K/BB ratio across 109 1/3 innings into a start against the Giants in San Francisco on Friday.       Hunter Brown allowed seven runs with five strikeouts over six innings in a loss to the Twins on Saturday.

      Advice: Brown had quite the forgettable day on the mound as he surrendered seven runs to the Twins. The seven runs matched the total runs heā€™s allowed over his last eight starts combined. Three hits, a hit batter, and a sacrifice fly brought two runs in to score in the first. Minnesota brought three more runs in on four hits and a walk in the second. And Brooks Lee would hit a two-run homer in the third. Brown worked three more scoreless innings before his day was done at 105 pitches.       Gerrit Cole allowed four runs with eight strikeouts across 4 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Red Sox on Saturday.

      Advice: Cole worked through two scoreless innings, including a base-loaded jam in the second that he escaped with a strikeout. A double, walk, and three base hits would bring three runs in to score for Boston in the third. Cole struck out the side in the fourth inning before Rafael Devers took him deep for a solo shot in the fifth. That would be it for Cole at 90 pitches. He struck out a season-high eight batters. Through four starts, the 33-year-old right-hander holds a 6.75 ERA, 1.62 WHIP, and a 19/8 K/BB ratio across 17 1/3 innings. Heā€™ll take on the Orioles in Baltimore on Friday. Winckowski worked out of a bases loaded jam in the second, then surrendered a two-run homer to Alex Verdugo in the third. He allowed a leadoff double in the fourth inning and recorded the first two outs before his day was done at 66 pitches. The 26-year-old right-hander holds a 3.23 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and a 32/14 K/BB ratio across 39 innings. Heā€™s currently lined up for a start against the Royals in Boston on Friday. The 25-year-old southpaw has managed to stay healthy and finally put everything together in a stellar first-half breakthrough, so it doesnā€™t come as a surprise that the White Sox are going to limit his workload leading up to the trade deadline in a few weeks.
