    • Keeps tumbling
Gil (9-4) took the loss Tuesday against Cincinnati, allowing four runs on two hits and three walks across four innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Gil surrendered at least four runs for a third straight start, something he'd done just once in his first 13 outings, continuing an unexpected freefall after an outstanding start to 2024. He was pulled after hitting a pair of batters and allowing a two-run home run to Will Benson in the fifth inning without recording an out. While Gil still owns a 3.41 ERA and a 102:48 K:BB across 89.2 innings, fantasy managers should proceed with caution, especially with a matchup against the Red Sox on the docket for Sunday. • Clubs homer
Lindor went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 7-2 extra-inning win over the Nationals.

Advice: Lindor got the Mets on the board with a sixth-inning solo home run off DJ Herz and came around to score the game-tying run in the eighth on a Brandon Nimmo single. The long ball was Lindor's 14th of the year, placing him in the top five among shortstops. He's slashing .249/.313/.446 with 56 runs and 15 stolen bases across 341 at-bats. • Goes yard in loss
Walker went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Walker has an extra-base hit in four of his last six games, though this was his first homer since June 20. The first baseman is up to 18 long balls on the year, with six of them coming over his last 18 games. He's added a .259/.331/.480 slash line with 55 RBI, 50 runs scored and two stolen bases over 85 contests. Rotowire.com 35 minutes ago
    • Christian Walker goes deep in loss to Dodgers
Christian Walker went 2-for-5 and slugged a two-run homer on Tuesday night as the Diamondbacks fell to the Dodgers in Los Angeles.

Advice: The 33-year-old slugger evened the score at 2-2 when he clobbered a 402-foot (107.1 mph EV) two-run shot off of Bobby Miller in the fourth inning. He also added a two-out single off of Alex Vesia in the seventh inning. Walker is enjoying another strong season in the middle of the Diamondbacks’ lineup, slashing .259/.331/.480 with 18 homers, 55 RBI and two stolen bases (in four attempts). • Goes deep in loss
Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Suzuki went deep with two runners on in the bottom of the ninth inning, bringing the Cubs within two, but the comeback effort came up short. The outfielder now has 11 home runs on the season, including three in his last six games. Suzuki is once again having a solid campaign, and fantasy managers should expect steady production the rest of the way as long as he stays healthy. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:16 pm
    • Allows five earned runs in loss
Keller (9-5) took the loss against the Cardinals on Tuesday, allowing six runs (five earned) on nine hits and no walks with five strikeouts over five innings.

Advice: Keller was burned by the long ball, surrendering a two-run home run in the second inning and a grand slam in the fourth. After completing at least six frames in eight consecutive starts from May 6 to June 19, the righty has now failed to do so in his past two outings. The 28-year-old will bring a solid 3.48 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 96:27 K:BB over 103.1 innings into a projected home matchup with the Mets this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:08 pm
    • Seiya Suzuki homers, drives in three vs. Phillies
Seiya Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Phillies.

Advice: After being held to just one run through the first eight innings, the Cubs put three more on the board in the final frame thanks to Suzuki’s three-run bomb that scored Cody Bellinger and Michael Busch. Suzuki now has 11 homers and 34 RBI on the season and has hit safely in five of his last seven games while blasting three homers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:51 pm
    • Austin Riley homers again in loss to Giants
Austin Riley went 1-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s loss to the Giants.

Advice: Riley got the scoring started for the Braves in the second inning when he took Hayden Birdsong 415 feet to left for a solo homer. The home run was Riley’s 10th blast of the season and his third in his last 10 games. The veteran third baseman has gotten off to a slow start this season after three straight 30-plus homer seasons but has now hit safely in six of his last eight games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:24 pm
    • Luis Gil’s struggles continue in loss
Luis Gil allowed four runs on two hits in four innings in a loss to the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: The command simply wasn’t there for Gil on Tuesday, walking three and striking out three while throwing 83 pitches in just four innings. There has been some concern that Gil is hitting a bit of a wall after allowing 16 earned runs in his last 9 2/3 innings. The Yankees maintain confidence in the 26-year-old, but he left a lot of sliders up in the zone today and struggled to command his changeup, so perhaps he is getting a little tired in his breakout season.
