      Munoz pitched a perfect inning to earn the save in Friday's 2-1 win over the Blue Jays.

      Advice: This was Munoz's first save since June 18 -- he blew a save June 24, which was his only opportunity over his last five appearances. The right-hander has seen the most high-leverage spots rather than being strictly confined to the ninth inning. He faced the 9-1-2 hitters Friday to earn his 14th save in 16 chances this year. Munoz has added a 1.54 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 43:14 K:BB across 35 innings while adding six holds. With Munoz's usage being more flexible, Ryne Stanek has forced his way into the closer conversation, though the Mariners' recent poor play hasn't led to many save chances for either reliever.       AndrĂ©s Muñoz didn’t allow a hit while picking up a save against the Blue Jays on Friday.

      Max Fried allowed 11 hits and five earned runs in six innings of work on Friday against the Phillies. He struck out four and walked one in a loss.

      Advice: This was a pivotal game for the Braves as they try to claw their way back into the NL East race and Fried simply did not have it. He lived in the heart of the zone and the Phillies made him pay time and time again. They had base runners in five out of six innings and looked incredibly comfortable in the box all night.       Fried (7-4) allowed five runs on 11 hits and a walk over six innings Friday, striking out four and taking a loss against the Phillies.

      Advice: Fried worked through three scoreless frames before beginning to unravel. He gave up three runs in the fourth inning and two more in the sixth. Of the five runs he allowed, four came via a pair of two-run shots from Trea Turner. Fried had given up just three runs over his previous three starts but saw his season ERA jump from 2.91 to 3.18 after Friday's hiccup. His next start is lined up to be in Arizona.     • Luis Robert Jr. swipes two bases in win over Fish
      Luis Robert Jr. went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles, drew two walks and swiped a pair of bases as the White Sox triumphed over the Marlins on Friday evening in Miami.

      Advice: The 26-year-old outfielder smacked a one-out single off of Bryan Hoenig in the third inning and swiped second base, but the White Sox were unable to cash him in. He also drew a two-out walk in the sixth inning and nabbed second again before being stranded there.       Fairbanks picked up the save over the Royals on Thursday, allowing one run on one hit over one inning while striking out one.

      Advice: Fairbanks entered the contest with a three-run lead in the bottom of the ninth and retired the first two batters in succession before surrendering a solo homer to Bobby Witt. The right-hander was then able to get Vinnie Pasquantino to ground out for the final out of the game, securing his 14th save of the season.       Peter Fairbanks gave up one run and picked up his 14th save of the season on Thursday against the Royals.

      Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, one stolen base and two total runs scored in Thursday's 7-3 win over the Orioles.

      Advice: Rodriguez earned his first multi-hit effort and swatted his first homer in 15 games. During the slump, he went just 7-for-56 (.125) while failing to log an extra-base hit or RBI. Rodriguez's recent poor play has seen him bounce around the lineup in an effort to get his bat going -- he hit fifth Thursday but had batted seventh in the previous two games.
