    • Enjoys big game from leadoff spot
Kelenic went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 9-2 victory versus the Rays.

Advice: Kelenic batted out of the leadoff spot for the first time this season while also making his first start in center field as a result of Michael Harris (hamstring) landing on the injured list. Given his performance Saturday, Kelenic could lead off regularly against right-handers for as long as Harris is out. The lefty batter recorded his fourth three-hit effort of the campaign and gave Atlanta its first lead with a two-run blast in the fifth inning. Kelenic bats mostly against righties and has accumulated a .269/.313/.425 slash line overall this season with five homers, 17 RBI, 19 runs and a stolen base. Rotowire.com 28 minutes ago

    • Early exit Saturday
Eovaldi (3-3) allowed four runs on four hits and four walks while striking out six over three innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Mariners.

Advice: Eovaldi needed 75 pitches (46 strikes) to get through three innings, and the Rangers weren't able to get him off the hook for the loss. It's possible the Rangers are still taking it easy on him after a groin injury sidelined him for much of May. Eovaldi has allowed nine runs over 18.2 innings across four starts since he returned from the injured list. He's at a 3.15 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 64:24 K:BB through 60 innings over 11 starts this season. He's projected for a tough home matchup versus the Royals in his next start. Rotowire.com 35 minutes ago
    • Bobby Witt Jr. steals 20th base of year in victory
Bobby Witt Jr. stole a base while going 2-for-5 in a victory for the Royals over the Dodgers on Saturday.

Advice: Witt Jr. also drove in a run with his single in the seventh, and it gave the Royals a 6-2 cushion. The star shortstopā€™s theft gives him 20 on the season, and thereā€™s a good chance heā€™s going to pass the 49 swipes that he picked up in 2023. No one has helped fantasy managers fill categories more than Witt Jr. in 2024. Rotoworld Today, 8:43 pm

    • MJ Melendez hits grand slam in win over Dodgers
MJ Melendez hit a grand slam to help the Royals to a 7-2 win over the Dodgers on Saturday.

Advice: WIth the bases full, Melendez took Blake Treinen deep to give the Royals a 5-2 lead. The 25-year-old outfielder has been a significant disappointment in 2024, but heā€™s at least starting to show some pop with three homers in the month of June; all of them coming in the last eight games. • Swats homer Saturday
McCormick went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 13-5 loss to the Tigers.

Advice: McCormick didn't start Saturday against right-hander Jack Flaherty. McCormick was still able to make an impact in the lopsided loss with a homer in the seventh inning after replacing Yordan Alvarez in left field. The long ball was McCormick's first of the season, though he's managed three extra-base hits over his last five contests. The 29-year-old is slashing .209/.273/.291 with 12 RBI, 10 runs scored and three stolen bases over 121 plate appearances, and he's unlikely to make a consistent impact while occupying a short-side platoon role. • Nathan Eovaldi goes just three in loss to Mariners
Nathan Eovaldi lasted just three innings while allowing four runs with six strikeouts in a loss to the Mariners on Saturday.

Advice: Eovaldi needed 75 pitches to get through the three frames, and the Rangers called it a day for the 34-year-old after he completed that frame. he allowed four walks and allowed four hits, including a two-run homer to Julio RodrĆguez. A rare off-night for Eovaldi, who still has a solid 3.15 ERA even with this disappointing ā€” and not disastrous ā€” effort. Heā€™s scheduled to face the Royals next weekend. Rotoworld Today, 7:05 pm
    • Completes seven innings in win
Rodriguez (8-2) earned the win against the Phillies on Saturday, allowing two runs on seven hits and one walk with six strikeouts over seven innings.

Advice: Rodriguez allowed runs on an RBI double by Alec Bohm in the first inning and a solo home run by Edmundo Sosa in the second but rebounded with five scoreless frames to earn his third consecutive win. This was the first time Rodriguez completed seven innings in a start this season, but he has pitched into the sixth in all but two of his 12 starts so far. On the year, Rodriguez now owns a 3.20 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 77:23 K:BB and tentatively lines up to start next week against the Yankees. Rotowire.com Today, 5:51 pm
    • Chas McCormick hits HR in loss to Tigers
Chas McCormick went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in a loss to the Tigers on Saturday.

Advice: McCormick didnā€™t start this game, but all five Astrosā€™ runs were driven in by players who were on the bench for the first pitch. The home run was McCormickā€™s first of the season but was a no-doubted, hit 428 feet at 106.5 mph. Heā€™s battled through injuries this year and is hitting just .209 on the season, but Jake Meyers has also started to struggle, so there is a chance that McCormick could push for more playing time if he can start swinging the bat well. • Grayson Rodriguez goes seven strong in win
Grayson Rodriguez allowed two runs with six strikeouts over seven innings in a win over the Phillies on Saturday.

Advice: Rodriguez got two quick outs to start the game, but gave up a single and a double that would bring a run in to score for the Phillies in the first. Edmundo Sosa then led off the second inning with a solo homer. Rodriguez settled in to retire ten consecutive batters until working around a single in a scoreless fifth inning. He got into trouble in the sixth with runners on second and third with two outs. Rodriguez got Sosa to strike out swinging to escape the jam, his sixth strikeout on the day. Heā€™d toss one more scoreless frame to complete seven innings for the win. The 24-year-old right-hander will take a 3.20 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and a 77/23 K/BB ratio across 70 1/3 innings into a start against the Astros in Houston on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 3:36 pm
