    • Plates two in win
Gimenez went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Gimenez contributed an RBI single in the second inning and a sacrifice fly in the ninth. He's hit safely in three straight games after going 0-for-15 over the previous four contests. The second baseman is up to a .255/.318/.357 slash line with six steals, two home runs, 23 RBI, 23 runs scored, eight doubles and a triple over 40 contests. While his power is slightly down this year, the rest of his offense is roughly in line with where he was at in 2023. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:00 am
    • Homers in consecutive games
Bogaerts went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Rockies.

Advice: Bogaerts has doubled his homer total for the year from two to four by going deep in each of the last two games. Prior to the power uptick, he endured an 0-for-15 slump over four contests. The veteran infielder is still battling inconsistency with a .212/.264/.318 slash line, 13 RBI, 23 runs scored, two stolen bases and six doubles through 182 plate appearances this season. He's never posted an OPS lower than .659 in a full campaign, and there's plenty of time for Bogaerts to turn things around in 2024. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:29 pm

    • Xander Bogaerts hits fourth homer versus Rockies
Xander Bogaerts hit his fourth homer Monday in a losing cause against the Rockies.

Advice: Sure, Bogaerts doesn’t get many hits, but at least two of his three in the last week have been homers. It’s been a scary decline from the 31-year-old, who is both striking out more and hitting the ball less hard than usual. We’re still hopeful that he’ll figure it out, but we were more optimistic a couple of weeks ago. Rotoworld Monday, 9:52 pm

    • Gimenez has two hits Monday
Andres Gimenez went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, and one RBI against the Rangers on Monday.

Advice: Gimenez scored on a wild pitch in the eighth inning before hitting an RBI double in the ninth inning. His power has almost completely disappeared as he’s now sporting a .105 ISO on the season. The Guardians lineup has been so good for run scoring that Gimenez has still managed to score 22 runs and drive in 21 runs in 39 games this season. Rotoworld Monday, 8:48 pm
    • Lifts homer in win
Gimenez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-0 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Gimenez had gone 0-for-15 with one walk and a stolen base over his previous four games. He snapped the skid with a fourth-inning solo shot, his second homer of the year. The second baseman is at a .242/.307/.342 slash line with 20 RBI, 20 runs scored and five stolen bases through 38 contests. He's remained in the No. 2 spot in the order versus right-handers since Steven Kwan (hamstring) went on the injured list, but the Guardians haven't gotten much hitting from the trio of Estevan Florial, Brayan Rocchio or Tyler Freeman, who had all gotten looks at leadoff in that span. As such, Gimenez's chances to produce RBI will likely be down in the near term. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:35 pm
    • Gets going with home run
Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sundays 4-0 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Bogaerts gave the Padres some extra breathing room with a solo shot off Gus Varland in the fifth. The long ball was his first since April 21, his first RBI since April 25 and his first hit in 17 at-bats since May 6. Bogaerts is still searching for a spark offensively this season, as he's slashing just .211/.264/.301 with three homers, 12 RBI, 22 runs and a 12:36 BB:K in 178 plate appearances. • AndrĂ©s GimĂ©nez gets night off on Friday
AndrĂ©s GimĂ©nez is not in the Guardians’ starting lineup for Friday night’s battle against the White Sox.

Advice: It looks to be just a regular day of rest for the 25-year-old second baseman. Gabriel Arias will start in his place and will bat eighth for the Guardians against Garrett Crochet and the White Sox. Rotoworld Friday, 2:29 pm
    • Gets break Friday
Gimenez is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: The lefty-hitting infielder will get a break as Cleveland takes on southpaw pitcher Garrett Crochet. Gimenez is out of the starting lineup for the first time since April 26, slashing .229/.288/.333 with five RBI and one home run in that 12-game stretch. Rotowire.com Friday, 1:21 pm
    • Records fifth steal
Gimenez went 0-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Tuesday's 11-7 loss to the Tigers.

Advice: After ending April with three straight multi-hit efforts, Gimenez has gone a mere 5-for-26 over seven contests to begin May. The steal was his first since April 28. The second baseman is at a .263/.333/.353 slash line through 151 plate appearances, but he's mustered just nine extra-base hits, including only one homer, after logging 15 long balls, 27 doubles and five triples in 153 games a year ago. Gimenez is also striking out at a career-low 15.9 percent rate, though he may need to give back some of his plate discipline to produce more power. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:58 am
