Kwan went 4-for-5 with one RBI in Sunday's loss to Toronto.

Advice: Kwan has been unstoppable since returning from a hamstring injury May 31, hitting safely in all 11 games while batting a torrid .535 with one home run, six RBI and 11 runs scored. The 26-year-old's hot streak has propelled his average to .398, which would lead the league if he had enough plate appearances to qualify. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:42 pm

    • Slugs grand slam
Varsho went 2-for-5 with a grand slam in Sunday's win versus Cleveland.

Advice: Varsho took Nick Sandlin deep in the fifth inning to record the third grand slam of his career. Varsho has enjoyed a nice start to the month of June, batting .277 with eight extra-base hits and two steals. On the season, the versatile 27-year-old is batting .220 with 11 home runs, 35 RBI, 40 runs scored and seven stolen bases across 67 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:12 pm

    • Kenta Maeda gives up four runs in loss to Astros
Kenta Maeda wasn’t at his best in Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Astros, giving up four runs on five hits over his five innings of work.

Advice: The 36-year-old right-hander also issued a pair of walks on the day while recording only one strikeout. He surrendered an RBI single to Yordan Alvarez in the opening inning, then was victimized by Jose Altuve for a two-out, three-run homer in the second inning. Maeda finished his day with three scoreless frames, but the damage had already been done. He got 10 swings and misses on 94 pitches in the ballgame, posting a CSW of 23 percent. He’ll carry an uninspiring 6.02 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and a 36/18 K/BB ratio (49 1/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the White Sox. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:46 pm

    • Leody Taveras goes 0-for-3 in loss to Mariners
Leody Taveras went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts Sunday, leaving him 2-for-39 this month.

Advice: Taveras was a league-average hitter through two months, but this slump has him all of the way down to .211/.281/.322. At this rate, the Rangers might have to think about adding another outfielder prior to the trade deadline. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:22 pm

    • Adames slugs three-run home run in win Sunday
Willy Adames went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run against the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Adames’ home run was his 12th of the season. The three-run shot gave Milwaukee a 4-3 lead in the sixth inning. Adames is only hitting .244 this season, but has 51 RBI hitting fourth for the Brewers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:21 pm

    • Gives up four runs, takes loss
Maeda (2-3) was the pitcher of record in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Astros. He gave up four earned runs on five hits and two walks over five innings.

Advice: The Astros jumped on Maeda early, plating a run on a pair of base hits in the first inning. Maeda initially looked as though he might not come back for the bottom of the second, as he was struck in the right leg by an 86.7-mile-per-hour Jon Singleton line drive that Maeda gathered and threw to first base for the final out of the first. Maeda limped off the mound and returned for the second, but he served up a three-run home run to Jose Altuve to put the Tigers in a bigger hole. On a positive note, Maeda was able to save the Detroit bullpen a bit, as he faced the minimum nine hitters over the next three frames to get through five innings. Still, the damage was done early, and Maeda has now given up at least four runs in five of his 11 starts this season. The veteran righty will take a 6.02 ERA into his next start, which will likely fall next weekend versus the White Sox. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:07 pm

    • Alec Bohm with three more hits Sunday
Alec Bohm went 3-for-4 with a double, walk, and two runs batted in on Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: April Bohm is back. He had eight hits and five RBI this weekend in Baltimore without striking out as he continues in what’s been a true breakout season for the third basemen. His 57 RBI are second most in the National League, behind only Marcell Ozuna. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:45 pm

    • Kwan has four-hit game in loss to Jays Sunday
Steven Kwan went 4-for-5 with one RBI against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Advice: Kwan is hitting a ridiculous .398 on the season now. It’s probably not sustainable as his BABIP is .418 compared to his career .320 BABIP, but Kwan benefits from his low seven percent strikeout percentage. He’s going to put the ball in play a lot and right now everything is finding a hole.

    • Varsho hits grand slam for 11th home run Sunday
Daulton Varsho went 2-for-4 with a grand slam against the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: The home run was Varsho’s 11th of the season. He could’ve had an even bigger game as he came up with the bases loaded again in the eighth inning, but he struck out. While he’s only hitting .220, he’s produced in the power categories with 11 home runs and 35 RBI. His .238 ISO is even higher than his .207 ISO in 2022 when he hit 27 home runs with the Diamondbacks.
