    • Will be primary third baseman
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Monday that LeMahieu (foot) will be the team's primary third baseman when he returns, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Advice: LeMahieu will be eased into everyday duty, though, after missing so much time with a right foot injury. The veteran infielder is a couple games into the resumption of his rehab assignment and isn't expected to be activated for at least another week or so. Once LeMahieu returns, Oswaldo Cabrera and Jon Berti will fill utility roles. Rotowire.com Monday, 1:30 pm

    • Reaches four times in rehab game
LeMahieu (foot) went 1-for-1 with three walks, two runs and an RBI while playing five innings at third base in Sunday's rehab appearance with Double-A Somerset.

Advice: LeMahieu had plenty of opportunities to put his right foot -- which he broke on a foul ball March 16 -- to the test Sunday given his time in the field and on the basepaths. The veteran infielder is three games into his rehab assignment and has gone 2-for-7 with three walks, two runs and an RBI thus far. Per the Associated Press, LeMahieu is slated to play back-to-back minor-league games Tuesday and Wednesday this week before playing in three consecutive contests over the weekend. He could be activated from the injured list soon thereafter. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:09 pm

    • Plates five in win
Bohm went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and two additional RBI during Sunday's 11-5 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Bohm collected more than four RBI for the fifth time in his career, hitting a pair of sacrifice flies before tagging Tanner Rainey for a three-run homer in the eighth inning. In his last six games, Bohm is batting 8-for-24 (.333) with nine RBI. Rotowire.com May 19, 9:02 pm

    • Alec Bohm knocks in five to take over MLB lead
Alec Bohm had a three-run homer and two sac flies to lead the Phillies to an 11-5 win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Bohm has had four six-RBI games in his career, including one last month, but this is the first time he’s finished with exactly five. He’s now the major league leader with 42 RBI, giving him one more than Marcell Ozuna and José Ramírez. With a .330/.389/.528 line in 47 games, he’s on track to make his All-Star debut this summer. • Yandy Díaz reaches five times in win vs. Toronto
Yandy Díaz went 3-for-3 with a run scored and two walks against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Díaz started his day with a single to lead off the first inning. He added a base hit in the third and led off the sixth with his third hit before scoring on a single by Amed Rosario. Díaz reached again in the seventh on a walk and drew another walk in the eighth to reach base in all five plate appearances. The 32-year-old first baseman ends the day hitting .263/.330/.360 with three homers and 23 RBI across 206 plate appearances. Rotoworld May 18, 3:00 pm

    • Unlikely to return next week
LeMahieu (foot) could come off the injured list during the Yankees' West Coast road trip that begins May 24, though manager Aaron Boone stated Friday that the veteran infielder is unlikely to be activated at the beginning of that nine-game stretch, per MLB.com.

Advice: LeMahieu restarted a minor-league rehab assignment with Double-A Somerset on Friday, going 1-for-2 with a single while playing three innings at third base. Boone stated earlier in the day that "it's possible" LeMahieu will be activated during New York's road swing against the Padres, Angels and Giants that starts May 24, but the skipper added that he doesn't expect that to happen at the start of the trip. LeMahieu is expected to get the day off Saturday before participating in his second rehab game Sunday, and Boone suggested that the organization plans to be cautious with the 34-year-old's rehab, explaining, "Part of the reason it has taken a long time is because he and us are going to be absolutely committed to this thing not being an issue when he goes to play." • Alec Bohm drives in run as Phillies beat Nationals
Alec Bohm clubbed an RBI double on Friday as the Phillies defeated the Nationals in Philadelphia.

Advice: Bohm opened the scoring in the home half of the first inning, plating J.T. Realmuto with his run-scoring double off of Nationals’ right-hander Jake irvin. That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night. For the season, the 27-year-old slugger is now hitting a robust .331/.397/.521 with four long balls, 37 RBI and a pair of stolen bases.
