      Advice: Busch gave Chicago its first lead with a two-run blast to center field in the sixth inning. It was his first long ball over his past 17 contests and just his second across his past 32 games. Busch began the campaign with six homers through 16 contests, so the fact that he's still yet to reach double digits in that category emphasizes the extent to which he's slowed down.       Nimmo went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in Monday's win over the Rangers.

      Advice: Nimmo knocked RBI singles in the second and fifth innings but most of his damage came in the fourth inning when he ripped a two-run homer. It was his second straight three-hit game and fourth consecutive appearance with multiple hits. That hot streak has bumped Nimmo's OPS from .708 to .756.       De La Cruz went 3-for-4 with a double and a stolen base in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Pirates.

      Advice: De La Cruz produced his fifth three-hit effort of the season Monday. He has multi-hit games in three of his last four and a stolen base in three straight contests. The 22-year-old now has 37 steals through 72 games this season, which puts him on pace to reach 80 thefts by the end of the campaign.       Brandon Nimmo went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a home run and four RBI against the Rangers on Monday.



      Advice: Nimmo is now 10-for-17 (.588) with six runs scored and seven RBI over his last four games. His average is up to .240 with a .756 OPS and 39 RBI on the season. It’s been a down season for Nimmo, a career .266 hitter, but he seems to be turning it around at the plate lately.

      Bednar pitched a perfect ninth inning to pick up the save against the Reds in Monday's 4-1 win.

      Advice: After serving up homers in each of his last two appearances, Bednar got back on track with a clean frame Monday. Bednar had a disastrous start to the season with 14 earned runs allowed in his first 13 outings, but he's turned it around with a 1.88 ERA over his last 19.1 innings.       Advice: Turner scored Toronto's first run after drawing a walk in the second inning. He later ripped a solo shot in the sixth inning for his fifth home run of the year. He snapped a 33-game homerless drought, during which he slashed .155/.250/.191. Turner now owns a .691 OPS with 18 extra-base hits and 24 runs scored through 233 plate appearances.       Elly De La Cruz went 3-for-4 with his 37th stolen base of the season on Monday in the Reds’ loss to the Pirates.

      Advice: De La Cruz was one of the few bright spots in this one as Cincinnati’s offense was almost completely shut down by Pirates rookie ace Paul Skenes into the late innings of the first meeting between the two division rivals this year. The 22-year-old middle infielder remains on pace to steal roughly 80 bases this season as he’s picked it up on the bases recently, notching at least one theft in three straight contests.       David Bednar tossed a perfect frame on Monday against the Reds to record his 15th save of the season.

      Advice: Bednar was summoned to protect a three-run lead in the final frame and required just 11 pitches (eight strikes) to spin a flawless frame. It was a nice rebound effort for the 29-year-old stopper after giving up solo homers in each of his previous two appearances. He’s converted 15 of his 18 save opportunities on the year.       Austin Riley went 2-for-3 with two doubles and a run scored against the Tigers on Monday.
