    • Clubs homer in win
Henderson went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Henderson worked a nine-pitch at-bat to lead off the first inning, and it ended with him taking Zack Wheeler deep. It was Henderson's lone hit in the game, but it was enough to extend his hitting streak to 10 contests, a span in which he's gone 14-for-43 (.326) with three long balls. The star shortstop is up to 22 homers, 49 RBI, 56 runs scored, nine stolen bases and a .274/.370/.588 slash line through 70 games in his breakout campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:44 pm
    • Too much traffic in loss
Stroman (6-3) allowed four runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out three over five innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Red Sox.

Advice: In addition to allowing 11 baserunners, Stroman was also on the mound for six of the Red Sox's franchise-best nine steals in the contest. Stroman has had two bad outings and one good one through three starts in June, though Sunday marked his first loss since May 9. The right-hander has maintained a 3.08 ERA despite a 1.30 WHIP and 61:38 K:BB over 84.2 innings through 15 starts this season. He's projected for a home start versus Atlanta in his next outing. • Six hits across doubleheader
Bleday went 6-for-9 with a solo home run, a double and two total runs scored as the Athletics lost both games of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Twins.

Advice: Bleday's best performance was in the nightcap, when he went 4-for-5 with his homer. The outfielder had been warming up after a slow start to June -- he now has multiple hits in four of his last six games. He's at a .254/.337/.462 slash line with 10 homers, 25 RBI, 31 runs scored and no stolen bases through 74 contests this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:23 pm
    • Plagued by long ball
Singer (4-4) took the loss Sunday against the Dodgers, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out four.

Advice: All three runs charged to Singer came via home run, with Shohei Ohtani slugging a solo shot in the third inning and going back-to-back with Freddie Freeman in the sixth inning. Sunday's start was Singer's first allowing multiple home runs and was his second time in seven appearances completing six innings. Through 14 outings, Singer owns a 3.39 ERA and a 76:23 K:BB across 77 innings. He's tentatively scheduled to face the Rangers in Arlington next weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:41 pm
    • Marcus Stroman gives up four runs in loss Sunday
Marcus Stroman struggled in a losing effort against the Red Sox on Sunday night, giving up four runs on seven hits over his five innings of work.

Advice: The 33-year-old hurler also walked four batters in the ballgame while punching out three. The Red Sox scratched out two runs against him in the second inning on a two-out, two-run single by Ceddanne Rafaela, then tacked on single runs in the third and in the fifth. They also took advantage of Stroman and Jose Trevino on the basepaths, swiping six bases in their five innings. Stroman got seven swings and misses on 102 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of only 24 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he brings a 3.08 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and a 61/38 K/BB ratio (84 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Braves. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:19 pm
    • Blasts 11th homer
Westburg went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored Sunday against the Phillies.

Advice: It was the 18th multi-hit game of the season for Westburg, whose 11th homer came with two on in the fifth and represented the fourth long ball of the day allowed by Phillies starter Zack Wheeler. The 25-year-old is experiencing a breakout in his second big-league season, posting an impressive slash line of .278/.332/.504 with 11 home runs, 42 RBI, 37 runs and six steals over 268 plate appearances. • Jose Altuve powers Astros past Tigers on Sunday
Jose Altuve blasted a three-run homer in the second inning on Sunday, powering the Astros to a 4-1 victory over the Tigers in their series finale in Houston.

Advice: The Astros scratched out a run in the opening inning as Altuve singled, took second on a wild pitch and raced around to score on a single off the bat of Yordan Alvarez. He then clobbered a game-changing 402-foot (101.9 mph EV) three-run shot off of Kenta Maeda with two outs in the second inning that proved to be the difference in the ballgame. Altuve finished the afternoon 2-for-3 plus a walk and a stolen base and is now slashing a healthy .299/.350/.460 on the season to go along with 11 homers, 29 RBI and 10 stolen bases on the season. • Brady Singer tagged for three homers in loss
Brady Singer allowed three runs, all of them coming on solo homers, over six innings Sunday in a loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: At least Singer got beaten by the best, giving up two homers to Shohei Ohtani and one to Freddie Freeman. Singer has opened June by surrendering 13 runs — 11 earned — in 15 1/3 innings. He’s a solid enough fantasy option with the Royals playing well, but he might prove droppable later this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:46 pm
    • Improving, but iffy for Monday
Blue Jays manager John Schneider said Bichette is improving in his recovery from a right calf injury, but the skipper declined to reveal whether the shortstop was available off the bench for Sunday's 7-6 win over the Guardians, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports. "Hopefully it's not too much longer," Schneider said.

Advice: Bichette missed out on a second consecutive start Sunday due to the injury, and Schneider's comments offered no assurance that the 26-year-old will be back in the lineup Monday versus the Red Sox. Isiah Kiner-Falefa has manned shortstop for the past two games in Bichette's absence, opening up one start apiece for Ernie Clement and Addison Barger at third base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:45 pm
