    • Lasts seven innings in no-decision
Imanaga didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against San Diego, allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk across seven innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Imanaga allowed more than five hits for the first time this season and tied his season worst earned run total but it was hardly a disappointing start for the first-year MLB'er, who's arguably been the best starter in baseball. He blanked the Padres through seven innings but allowed an infield single to Luis Arraez then a homer to Jurickson Profar in the eighth before being pulled. Imanaga has fanned seven or more batters in three straight starts and the Cubs are 7-0 when he's on the bump. The lefty is tentatively scheduled to make his next start Tuesday in Atlanta. • Homer, five RBI in victory
Carroll went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and five total RBI in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Reds.

Advice: Carroll looked back at home in the leadoff spot Tuesday -- after driving in two runs earlier in the game, the 23-year-old outfielder broke the game open with a three-run homer off the left-handed Justin Wilson in the seventh, his second long ball of the year and first since April 9, extending Arizona's lead to 5-0. After a brutal start to the season, it looks like Carroll may be starting to turn things around at the plate -- he now has at least one hit in six of his last seven contests, going 8-for-27 in that span. He's still slashing an uninspiring .211/.300/.278 through 34 games with 15 runs scored, 12 RBI and eight stolen bases. Rotowire.com 53 minutes ago
    • James McArthur allows three-run homer to blow save
James McArthur took his second straight blown save after giving up a three-run homer to Willy Adames against the Brewers on Tuesday.

Advice: This was worse than Sunday, when he gave up one run in the ninth. McArthur still has a nice 18/3 K/BB ratio in 16 1/3 innings and the homer was only the second he’s given up, so he should be safe for now. That said, it’d be bad if he blew another one right away. John Schreiber is surely next in line for save chances in Kansas City right now. It still doesn’t look like John McMillon, who has been terribly wild in Triple-A, will be a factor anytime soon. • Imanaga dazzles, strikes out 8 in win over Padres
Shota Imanaga allowed two earned runs over seven innings while striking out eight in the Cubs’ 3-2 win over the Padres.

Advice: Imanaga was stellar again on a night where the Cubs only provided him one run on offense. Unfortunately, a disastrous eighth inning, which he entered with 95 pitches alread on the ledger, quickly went awry for the lefty, who gave up a single a two-run homer to Jurickson Profar in the frame to get saddled with the loss. Outside of the disastrous eighth, Imanaga didn’t run into too much trouble in this one, stranding only one runner in scoring position while limiting the Padres to only singles through his first seven innings. He still sits at a perfect 5-0 on the season, but will look to earn his sixth win on Monday against the Braves. Rotoworld Today, 7:22 pm

    • Corbin Carroll homers, drives in five 5 in win
Corbin Carroll went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and five RBI in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: This was a much-needed big game for Carroll, who is still slashing just .211/.300/.278 on the season with two home runs and 12 RBI. The home run was well-struck at 104.3 mph off the bat and traveling 390 feet. While that’s great, it was the only ball on the day that Carroll hit over 87 mph. It doesn’t make sense to trade Carroll away while his value is so low, but we’ll need to see more consistent quality contact before we can be sure he’s fully healthy or ready for a hot stretch. However, it is nice to see him back to hitting leadoff, which would be important for his fantasy value. Rotoworld Today, 6:29 pm
    • Sliding back to setup role
Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Tuesday that Ginkel will go back to a setup role upon the return of Paul Sewald (oblique), Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Advice: Lovullo wants to throw Sewald back into the closer role immediately, saying that if a save opportunity should arise Tuesday, it would go to Sewald. Ginkel filled in admirably as the temporary closer, going 5-for-7 in save chances while posting a 2.57 ERA and 14:3 K:BB over 14 innings. Certainly, it's a major hit to his fantasy value as he shifts back to being a setup man. Rotowire.com Today, 1:49 pm
    • Moves up to leadoff spot Tuesday
Carroll will start in center field and bat leadoff in Tuesday's game in Cincinnati.

Advice: It's the first time since April 22 that Carroll has hit higher than seventh. The reigning National League Rookie of the Year did have two base knocks and two RBI in Monday's game, his first multi-hit effort since April 19. Rotowire.com Today, 12:34 pm
    • Absent from Tuesday's lineup
Bohm is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: It's Bohm's first day off since April 15. Kody Clemens will handle third base Tuesday while Bohm grabs a seat. Rotowire.com Today, 12:04 pm

    • On bench again
Cabrera is out of the Yankees' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Astros.

Advice: Cabrera will be available off the bench for a second straight game after making 22 straight starts at third base. Jon Berti will man the hot corner and bat ninth against Houston. Rotowire.com Today, 11:51 am
