      Heliot Ramos hit a three-run homer and reached four times in a loss to the Angels on Friday.

      Advice: In addition to the three-run homer, Ramos also singled and drew a pair of walks. The 24-year-old has been outstanding in 2024 after struggling in his limited MLB chances in the past, and the four-reach game has him slashing .314/.400/.529 in 121 at-bats.     • Carlos Estévez locks down save against Giants
      Carlos Estévez go the final three outs to get a save against the Giants on Friday.

      Advice: It didn’t look like Estévez was going to be necessary Friday night, but an 8-1 cushion turned into an 8-6 game, so the 31-year-old was called upon to convert his 11th save. The 31-year-old didn’t allow a hit, struck out one hitter and threw 12-of-17 pitches in the strike zone. Estévez should continue to see save chances as long as he’s a member of the Angels, but keep in mind a trade — very possible with Los Angels going nowhere — would likely make him a set-up hurler; severely limiting his fantasy upside.     • Turns in quality start
      Stone allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Royals on Friday.

      Advice: Stone's three-start winning streak was snapped, but he picked up his first quality start over three outings in June. The right-hander has been steady this year -- this was just the fourth time in 13 starts he's given up three or more runs. He's now at a 3.01 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 56:23 K:BB over 74.2 innings.     • Gavin Stone surrenders three over seven vs. KC
      Gavin Stone didn’t factor into the decision Saturday against the Royals after allowing three runs over seven innings with three strikeouts.

      Advice: Stone allowed four hits and walked two while throwing 61-of-94 pitches in the strike zone. The 25-year-old allowed all three runs on a long roundtripper by Salvador Perez. Minus that gaffe, it was another solid start for Stone against a pretty tough Kansas City lineup. He’s currently scheduled to face the Rockies on Thursday in Colorado.       Iglesias recorded one out to earn a save over the Rays on Friday.

      Advice: Iglesias came into the game with two runners on base and two outs. He quickly finished the 7-3 win with just three pitches.       Matt Waldron kept the Mets at bay through seven innings on Friday allowing just three hits and two earned runs. He walked two and struck out two.

      Advice: This was another solid start for Waldron without being as dominant as his last handful. His knuckleball danced through the rainy night sky in Queens and the Mets had plenty of trouble squaring it up. He’ll take a 3.66 ERA into his next start against the Phillies.       Raisel Iglesias got one out on three pitches to earn the save on Friday night in the Braves’ win over the Rays.

      Advice: Iglesias was called upon after Dylan Lee got into trouble in the ninth inning and earned the save after throwing just three pitches. It’s been a bizarre season for Iglesias with a 2.10 ERA and just a 16.9 K%. Beware of possible regression coming. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:05 pm

      Yainer Diaz (finger) returned to the Astros’ starting lineup for Friday’s series opener against the Tigers.

      Advice: It’s the first time that the 25-year-old backstop has been in the lineup since he took a foul tip off of his finger during Sunday’s game. He’ll serve as the team’s designated hitter and bat fifth against tough left-hander Tarik Skubal while Victor Caratini does the catching for the Astros and will bat eighth.
