    • Hits go-ahead home run
Morel went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 3-1 win over the Mets.

Advice: Morel was hitless until the ninth inning, when he delivered a two-out home run with a runner on against New York closer Edwin Diaz to break open a 1-1 tie. The key blast was Morel's fourth of the season and first since April 9. He's not off to as fast of a start as he had last year, but the 24-year-old can heat up in a hurry, and perhaps this effort will provide the spark. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:25 pm

    • Shuts down Yanks for fourth win
Rodriguez (4-1) picked up the win Monday, allowing five hits and three walks over 5.2 scoreless innings in a 2-0 victory over the Yankees. He struck out three.

Advice: While the 24-year-old right-hander recorded his lowest strikeout total of the season so far, Rodriguez kept New York from pushing across a run despite having runners in scoring position in three of the six innings in which he worked. He tossed 54 of 101 pitches for strikes before exiting, coming up just short of his fourth quality start of the year, and he gave up two runs or fewer for the fifth time in six trips to the mound. Rodriguez will take a 3.71 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 37:12 K:BB through 34 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road this weekend in Cincinnati. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:09 pm
    • Christopher Morel hits go-ahead homer to sink Mets
Christopher Morel slugged a go-ahead two-run homer on Monday, powering the Cubs to a 3-1 victory over the Mets.

Advice: Morel stunned the New York faithful at Citi Field with a tie-breaking ninth-inning blast to left-center field off Mets stopper Edwin Díaz. It was his fourth big fly of the season and snapped a 16-game homerless drought dating back to April 9. Rotoworld Monday, 6:29 pm

    • Grayson Rodriguez shuts out Yankees in win
Grayson Rodriguez went 5 2/3 innings and allowed five hits and no runs in a 1-0 victory against the Yankees.

Advice: After a putrid outing where he allowed seven earned runs, Rodriguez put together a scoreless performance and threw more than 100 pitches for the first time in a game this season. This was the 24-year-old’s third win of the season and brought his 4.45 ERA down to a cool 3.71 ERA. Rotoworld Monday, 6:07 pm
    • Senga faces hitters, expects to return when eligible
Kodai Senga (shoulder) faced hitters Monday for the first time since February.

Advice: Senga told reporters that he expects to be able to return from the 60-day injured list when eligible, which would be May 27 in this case. The right-hander continues to make steady progress from the injury, and the next step will likely be a rehab assignment starting in the next week or so. Great news for fantasy managers who have remained patient with Senga in their injured list spot. Rotoworld Monday, 1:30 pm

    • Aiming to return when eligible
Senga (shoulder) threw a 21-pitch live batting practice session Monday and said afterward that he thinks he'll return from the 60-day injured list around when he's first eligible to be activated May 27, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Working his way back from a shoulder capsule strain, Senga also added that he will need to face hitters two more times before beginning a rehab assignment. That should put him on track for his first rehab start in early May, with a return before the end of the month being a possibility if all goes according to plan. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:51 pm

    • Julien out of lineup as Twins bench all lefties
The Twins are opting to bench all their left-handed hitters against Garrett Crochet, which means Edouard Julien, Alex Kirilloff, Trevor Larnach, and Max Kepler are all on the bench on Monday.

Advice: We had been waiting to see who would get the short end of the stick with Carlos Correa returning from the IL, but it’s impossible to tell that from this lineup. The Twins continue to be the most platoon-heavy lineup in baseball, which is incredibly frustrating for fantasy purposes. Kyle Farmer will get the start at 2B with Manuel Margot in RF, and Willi Castro in LF. Rotoworld Monday, 12:27 pm
    • Out again versus lefty
Julien is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: The Twins are facing a lefty for the fourth time in the last six games and Julien has been out of the lineup on all four occasions. Kyle Farmer will handle second base in Julien's place. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:26 pm
    • Christopher Morel returns to Cubs lineup on Sunday
Christopher Morel (hip, elbow) returned to the Cubs’ starting lineup on Sunday.

Advice: Morel was pulled from Saturday’s game after colliding with teammate Alexander Canario in the outfield, but aside from being a bit banged up he’s good to go. Morel is starting at the hot corner and batting cleanup against Tanner Houck and the Red Sox on Sunday night. On the season, the 24-year-old slugger is hitting .219/.296/.365 with three homers, 12 RBI and one stolen base through 26 games. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:02 pm
