    • Bobby Witt Jr. steals base in blowout loss
Bobby Witt Jr. walked twice and also stole a base on Saturday in the Royals’ lopsided defeat at the hands of the Rangers.

Advice: Witt is already up to 11 stolen bases on the season and continues to cement his status as one of the elite five-category impact contributors in the fantasy landscape. The 23-year-old superstar shortstop boasts a robust .313/.367/.530 triple-slash line with 29 runs scored, four homers, 19 RBI and 11 thefts in 147 plate appearances over 34 games. • Will undergo MRI on hamstring
Kwan will undergo an MRI on his injured left hamstring Sunday, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Advice: Kwan tweaked the hamstring during Saturday's game against the Angels while making a play in the outfield. More should be known about a potential injured list stint and timetable following the exam. Kwan is off to an excellent start this season, slashing .353/.407/.496 over 32 games. • Leaves game with hamstring injury
Kwan was lifted from Saturday's game against the Angels due to left hamstring tightness, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Kwan looked to tweak his hamstring while chasing down a flyball in the top of the third inning and was removed prior to the top of the fourth. It's not clear at this point whether he might require an MRI, but the Guardians figure to offer an update on his condition after the game. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:30 pm

    • Steven Kwan leaves game with hamstring tightness
Steven Kwan was removed from Saturday’s game against the Angels due to tightness in his left hamstring.

Advice: Kwan suffered the injury while running down a ball in the outfield. The severity of the injury, as well as how much time the 26-year-old outfielder may stand to miss, remain unclear. The Guardians should provide another update on his status after the game concludes. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:28 pm

    • Christopher Morel continues power surge vs. Brewers
Christopher Morel went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk on Saturday against the Brewers.

Advice: After drawing a walk in the first inning, Morel took Tobias Myers deep for a two-run homer in the third to extend the Cubs lead. Morel can certainly hit homers in bunches, as he’s now gone yard in three straight games and four of his last six. The 24-year-old third baseman is slashing .213/.292/.426 with seven homers, 20 runs scored, 20 RBI, and three steals across 137 plate appearances. Despite the low batting average, Morel has significantly cut down his strikeout rate so far this season, a good sign that we can see his numbers improve as we get into the summer. • Notches 10th steal
Witt went 1-for-4 with one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Witt's RBI single put the Royals up 3-1 in the seventh inning. He then stole second and scored on a Salvador Perez three-run home run. Witt is one of seven players to reach double-digit steals so far this season, though he's also been caught four times, most among those players. The shortstop is batting .357 during his seven-game hitting streak, and he's at a .318/.364/.538 slash line through 33 contests overall. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:14 am
    • Spencer Torkelson moves down to seventh spot
Spencer Torkelson is hitting seventh and playing first base against the Yankees on Saturday.

Advice: Torkelson continues to move down in the lineup, and it’s easy to justify with a slash of .212/.282/.288 over 132 plate appearances. The first-overall pick in 2020 was excellent in the second-half of the 2023 campaign, but that hasn’t carried over whatsoever in 2024. Fantasy managers in redraft leagues should be searching for a potential replacement if they haven’t cut bait already. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:34 am
    • Begins rehab assignment
Friedl (wrist) began a rehab assignment Thursday and is 1-for-7 with a walk over two games for Triple-A Louisville.

Advice: Friedl, batting in his customary leadoff spot, played seven innings at shortstop Thursday and a full game Friday as the designated hitter. Reds manager David Bell told Mike Petraglia of MLB.com that he'll have a better idea of Friedl's return timeline by the end of the weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:27 am

    • Hunter Greene goes 5 2/3 scoreless for Reds
Hunter Greene blanked the Orioles for 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision Friday.

Advice: Greene, who also pitched shutout ball last time out, lowered his ERA to 3.12. Still, the Reds are somehow 1-6 when he pitches this season, despite being 15-10 the rest of the time. Greene’s luck should even out at some point, and he seems like an every-week play in mixed leagues. Rotoworld Friday, 9:32 pm
