      Advice: After drawing a walk in the first inning, Morel took Tobias Myers deep for a two-run homer in the third to extend the Cubs lead. Morel can certainly hit homers in bunches, as he’s now gone yard in three straight games and four of his last six. The 24-year-old third baseman is slashing .213/.292/.426 with seven homers, 20 runs scored, 20 RBI, and three steals across 137 plate appearances. Despite the low batting average, Morel has significantly cut down his strikeout rate so far this season, a good sign that we can see his numbers improve as we get into the summer. Witt is one of seven players to reach double-digit steals so far this season, though he's also been caught four times, most among those players.       Spencer Torkelson is hitting seventh and playing first base against the Yankees on Saturday.

      Advice: Torkelson continues to move down in the lineup, and it’s easy to justify with a slash of .212/.282/.288 over 132 plate appearances. The first-overall pick in 2020 was excellent in the second-half of the 2023 campaign, but that hasn’t carried over whatsoever in 2024.       Hunter Greene blanked the Orioles for 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision Friday.

      Advice: Greene, who also pitched shutout ball last time out, lowered his ERA to 3.12. Still, the Reds are somehow 1-6 when he pitches this season, despite being 15-10 the rest of the time.
