    • Andrew Heaney turns in quality start versus A’s
Andrew Heaney allowed two runs — one earned — over six innings Monday against the A’s.

Advice: Still no wins for Heaney, though the Rangers finally did prevail in one of his starts for the first time this season. Heaney remained 0-4 with a 4.50 ERA in spite of a second straight inspiring effort. He’s still in line to be supplanted if the Rangers get healthier. Expectations were that Max Scherzer would soon take his rotation spot, but the Rangers will likely still have room for him with Nathan Eovaldi and Cody Bradford on the shelf. Rotoworld 9 minutes ago

    • Takes loss despite quality start
Flaherty (0-2) took the loss Monday against Cleveland, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Flaherty struggled with the Guardians' power, yielding three extra-base hits, including a solo homer in the sixth frame to Jose Ramirez. While the veteran righty has been an excellent source of strikeouts with 56 K's through 42 innings, he hasn't been as dominant in the run department but still owns a 3.86 ERA and has walked merely six batters. Flaherty will likely take the mound Sunday against the Astros for his next start. Rotowire.com 29 minutes ago

    • Homers again Monday
Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-3 win against the Marlins.

Advice: Hernandez hit one of four Dodgers homers in the contest, smashing a 418-foot solo shot in the third inning. It was his second straight game with a long ball, and he's gone deep three times in his past four games. Hernandez is up to nine home runs and 26 RBI on the season while slashing .259/.325/.490 and adding 24 runs and three stolen bases. Rotowire.com 32 minutes ago

    • Continues to destroy baseballs
Ohtani went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and two stolen bases Monday in a 6-3 victory versus Miami.

Advice: Fresh off being named the National League's Player of the Week after posting an absurd .524/.583/.952 slash line over his previous five games, Ohtani crushed a 441-foot, two-run homer in his first at-bat Monday to open the scoring for Los Angeles. He went on to notch his third straight multi-hit game and added a pair of steals for good measure, giving him four thefts over his past four games. It took Ohtani nine games as a Dodger before he hit his first long ball, but he's since gone deep 11 times -- including four times over his past three games -- to take over the major-league lead in that category. He's also tied for second in the majors with 31 runs, tied for sixth with 27 RBI and leads all of baseball with a 1.139 OPS. In addition, Ohtani has nine stolen bases, putting him on the verge of becoming the league's first player with double-digit homers and thefts this season. Rotowire.com 48 minutes ago

    • Collects third win
Sandlin (3-0) allowed a hit and struck out one without walking a batter over 1.1 innings to earn the win Monday over the Tigers.

Advice: Sandlin is on a six-inning scoreless streak, during which he has permitted three baserunners (two hits, one hit batsman). The right-hander has been a go-to option for manager Stephen Vogt -- Sandlin is already up to 19 appearances this season, tied with teammates Emmanuel Clase and Scott Barlow for the major-league lead. Through 17.2 innings, Sandlin has pitched to a 2.04 ERA, 0.62 WHIP and 20:3 K:BB while adding a save and two holds. He's not a full-time high-leverage reliever, but he's been steady for a strong Guardians bullpen when called upon. Rotowire.com Today, 10:03 pm

    • Settles for no-decision
Heaney allowed two runs (one earned) on seven hits and no walks while striking out five batters over six innings in a no-decision against Oakland on Monday.

Advice: Heaney notched his second straight quality start, but a strong outing by opposing starter Alex Wood kept him from picking up his first win of the season. Nonetheless, Heaney was impressive in the start, inducing 15 swinging strikes and finishing without issuing a free pass for his third consecutive appearance. The left-hander failed to get through five frames in each of his first three starts of the season but has now done so in each of his subsequent four outings, and he's gone at least six frames in three straight trips to the mound. Heaney's ERA still sits at a mediocre 4.50, but he has a solid 1.11 WHIP along with a 31:9 K:BB through 36 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 9:50 pm

    • Teoscar Hernández swats ninth homer of season
Teoscar Hernández hit a solo homer while going 2-for-4 in a win over the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: He also singled. It’s the ninth homer of the season for Hernández, and one of four the Dodgers hit off Marlins starter Roddery Muñoz in Monday’s victory. The outfielder has also driven in 26 runs over 37 games with a decent — if unspectacular — slash of .259/.325/.490. So far, so good in Hernández’s first season as a member of the Dodgers. • Shohei Ohtani homers, steals two bases vs. Marlins
Shohei Ohtani homered while stealing two bases in a 6-3 win over the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: What is there to say? Ohtani became the first designated hitter for the Dodgers to homer and steal two bases since Eric Young did it back in 1998. End of similarities between Ohtani and Young. The two-way star absolutely blistered a two-run homer in the first for his 11th roundtripper of the year, and he’s already driven in 27 runs. There are not enough superlatives to describe how good of a baseball player Shohei Ohtani is. Rotoworld Today, 9:30 pm

    • Robert Suarez notches five-out save against Cubs
Robert Suarez recorded a five-out save on Monday against the Cubs.

Advice: Suarez was tasked with protecting a three-run lead upon entering the eighth inning of Monday’s series opener at Wrigley Field for his first appearance since last Wednesday. The hard-throwing 33-year-old righty struck out Yan Gomes and retired Nico Hoerner to extinguish a bases-loaded threat in the eighth before coming back out to toss a perfect final frame. He’s converted all 11 of his save opportunities this season to go along with a microscopic 0.59 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 14/4 K/BB ratio across 15 1/3 innings (14 appearances). Rotoworld Today, 8:43 pm
