      Camilo Doval struck out a batter in a scoreless inning of work while picking up a save Thursday against the Red Sox.

      Advice: Doval is now up to six saves on the season. The right-hander didn’t allow a hit while picking up a strikeout, and he pounded the zone with 11-of-14 pitches going for strikes.       Iglesias gave up a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday to record his eighth save of the season in a 5-2 win over the Mariners.

      Advice: It wasn't the sharpest appearance for Iglesias, who put two batters on base before getting an out, but he settled down and took care of the heart of Seattle's order without too much more trouble. The right-hander has converted eight of his nine save chances to begin the year while posting a typically stingy 2.19 ERA and 1.05 WHIP through 12.1 innings, but there are signs Iglesias isn't quite in peak form -- his 94.5 mph average fastball is his lowest velocity since 2016, and his 18.0 percent strikeout rate is a massive drop from the 29.4 percent mark he delivered last season.       Finnegan picked up the save over the Rangers on Wednesday, striking out the side in a perfect ninth inning.

      Advice: The right-hander took over in the bottom of the ninth with a 1-0 lead and ran right through the Rangers lineup, retiring all three batters on swinging strikeouts to secure his 10th save of the season, tying him with Ryan Helsley, Robert Suarez and Clay Holmes for the league lead. Finnegan has successfully converted each of his last nine save attempts and hasn't allowed a hit over his last eight appearances (spanning eight innings), posting a 9:1 K:BB over that stretch. He set down Mitch Haniger and Jorge Polanco before getting Cal Raleigh to ground out to preserve the victory. The 34-year-old veteran stopper has converted eight of nine save opportunities this season to accompany a sparkling 2.19 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 9/3 K/BB ratio across 12 1/3 innings (13 appearances).       Jansen (1-0) got the win over the Cubs on Sunday, pitching a perfect inning while striking out a batter in the process.

      Advice: Jansen entered in the ninth with the score tied 4-4 and did his job by retiring the side in order in 10 pitches. He would wind up with his first win of the campaign after the Red Sox walked it off in the bottom of the inning. Jansen has now pitched three consecutive scoreless outings after blowing a save chance April 16. For the year, he owns a 1.86 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 14:8 K:BB in 9.2 innings to go along with five saves.
