      MLP Pipeline’s Jonathan Mayo reports Paul Skenes will make his next start on Sunday for Triple-A Indianapolis.

      Advice: There was some social media buzz that Skenes could get the call this weekend to join Pittsburgh’s starting rotation, but that doesn’t appear to be in the cards. The 21-year-old top pitching prospect has reeled off six dominant outings at Triple-A Indianapolis to open the year, posting a surreal 0.39 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 41/6 K/BB ratio across 23 innings of work. However, he is set to remain with Indy for at least one more turn. Skenes has been utterly dominant against Triple-A hitters, posting a 0.39 ERA with 41 strikeouts over 23 innings.       Advice: Yamamoto allowed the leadoff man to reach in back-to-back innings to open the contest but still managed to keep Arizona's lineup at bay over six frames. The right-hander has now hurled 12 scoreless innings over his last two starts and has won each of his last three decisions after imploding in his MLB debut.       Advice: He spoiled Seth Lugo's shutout bid in the seventh inning, but it was the only bright spot on the day for the Toronto offense. Jansen has three homers since making his season debut April 16, all solo shots, but they've all come in his last four starts.       Lugo (5-1) picked up the win Wednesday in a 6-1 victory over the Blue Jays, allowing one run on two hits and two walks over seven innings. He struck out eight.

      Advice: The 34-year-old right-hander generated an impressive 35 called or swinging strikes over 101 pitches as he baffled Toronto hitters. The quality start was Lugo's sixth in seven trips to the mound, and the two-year, $30 million contract he signed in December is looking like an absolute bargain for the Royals. Lugo will take a 1.60 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 31:11 K:BB through 45 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home early next week against the Brewers.       Advice: All the damage against Burnes came in the fifth inning when Oswaldo Cabrera launched a two-run home run. Despite allowing three or fewer runs for a seventh straight start, Burnes was stuck with the loss Wednesday as the Orioles offense could only manage three total hits and didn't score. While Burnes has allowed a home run in six of his seven starts this season, he owns a 2.61 ERA over 41.1 innings with 41 strikeouts -- the sixth most in the American League.
