    • ‘No timetable’ for Trea Turner (hamstring) yet
      Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters Friday that Trea Turner (hamstring) remains without a definitive timetable to return.

      Advice: Turner suffered a minor setback in his recovery from a left hamstring strain earlier this week when he experienced leg soreness following a high-intensity workout. He managed to resume fielding grounders and also did some light jogging prior to Friday’s game against the Cardinals, but doesn’t appear close to running the bases again, which would be his final hurdle prior to a minor league rehab assignment. It’s a frustrating situation for fantasy managers, but the Phillies can’t really afford to rush him back and risk another setback. At this point, a mid-June return seems like a best-case scenario.     • Tallies three hits
      Turang went 3-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored in Friday's win against the White Sox.

      Advice: Turang collected his fourth three-hit game of the season, batting in his customary leadoff spot against right-handed starters with Erick Fedde on the mound. The Brewers second baseman produced another solid month in May, hitting .284 (25-for-88) with one homer, five steals, nine RBI and nine runs scored.     • Fans seven in win
      Bibee (4-1) allowed a run on three hits and a walk over 6.1 innings Friday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Nationals.

      Advice: Bibee dominated in six shutout frames before Washington finally pushed home a run in the seventh. He's turned in three straight quality starts, dropping his season ERA from 4.34 to 3.74 during that span. The 25-year-old righty has allowed two or fewer runs in seven of his first 12 starts.     • Adoils García goes hitless in fourth straight game
      Adolis García went 0-for-4 as the Rangers’ cleanup man Friday against the Marlins.

      Advice: This has turned into quite a slump for García; he’s batting .164 in 110 at-bats since Apr. 25. The Rangers still don’t have much reason to drop him out of the cleanup spot, since most of the hitters behind him are struggling, too.     • Tanner Bibee blazes past Nationals for win
      Tanner Bibee allowed one earned run across 6 ⅓ innings in a 7-1 win over the Nationals on Friday. He struck out seven and walked one.

      Advice: This was a tremendous start for Bibee mostly fueled by increased fastball velocity. His heater ticked up to 98 MPH and averaged 95.5 MPH, but tailed off in the seventh inning as the Nationals started to get around on him. This was the second time in three starts Bibee’s fastball averaged at least 95.5 MPH and keeping the velocity on that pitch up is the key to his success. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:40 pm

      Paredes went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk Thursday against the Athletics.

      Advice: Paredes tallied his 10th homer of the season and third in May, and he's hitting .301 with 15 RBI and 10 runs scored across 24 contests on the month.       Young went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in Thursday's win over Atlanta.

      Advice: The 24-year-old center fielder has heated up again, batting .345 (10-for-29) over the last 10 games. Young remains limited as a fantasy asset -- he has yet to hit a homer this year and has a 4.5 percent walk rate -- but he tends to take full advantage when he does get on base.       Zach Eflin (back) threw a bullpen session on Thursday.

    • Allows just one hit in victory
      Flaherty (2-4) earned the win over Boston on Thursday, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out nine batters over 6.2 scoreless innings.

      Advice: Flaherty was at his best Thursday, racking up 15 swinging strikes and tying his season high with 6.2 frames. The right-hander struck out exactly nine batters for the third straight contest and recorded his sixth consecutive quality start. Though the win was just his second this season, Flaherty has been very good in his first year with Detroit, posting a 3.46 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 90:10 K:BB over 67.2 innings.
