    • Young on the bench Friday
Jacob Young is on the bench for the Nationals against the Phillies on Friday.

Advice: Young was in the leadoff spot when the Nationals last played on Wednesday. He’s hitting .262 with no home runs this year, but he also has 14 stolen bases in 34 games. Rotoworld Today, 12:36 pm

    • Not in Friday's lineup
Young is absent from the lineup for Friday's game in Philadelphia.

Advice: Young had started eight of the last nine contests, including six of them from the leadoff spot. He'll get a breather Friday, though, as Victor Robles patrols center field for the Nationals. Rotowire.com Today, 12:16 pm

    • Pilfers 14th bag
Young went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Wednesday's loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Getting another start in the leadoff spot, Young swiped his 14th bag of the season, tying him for fifth in the majors behind Elly De La Cruz (26), Jose Caballero (17), Brice Turang (16) and Bobby Witt (15). Young only has two successful steals through 12 games in May though, as his issues getting on base consistently are catching up to him -- he's slashing only .167/.295/.222 on the month. The Nationals have been shut out in back-to-back games and sit in the bottom six in runs scored and team OPS on the season, and unless Young heats up at the plate, his time at the top of the order is likely about to end. • Slugs 10th homer
Garcia went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Garcia has homered in back-to-back games, giving him 10 long balls on the year. Prior to Tuesday, he had gone 19 games without a multi-hit effort, batting a meager .153 (11-for-72) in that span. That slump took the shine off his hot start to the campaign, but the outfielder is still slashing .259/.306/.494 with 34 RBI, 23 runs scored, four stolen bases and nine doubles over 44 contests this season. • Adolis García goes yard for 10th homer Wednesday
Adolis García went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer to lift the Rangers to a 4-0 win over the Guardians.

Advice: García knocked a base hit in the fourth inning, then took Nick Sandlin deep for a two-run homer in the sixth to extend the Rangers lead. The 31-year-old slugger has multiple hits in back-to-back games amid a cold stretch. He hadn’t had two hits in a game since April 21. García is up to 10 homers while slashing .259/.306/.494 with 34 RBI and four steals across 183 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:41 pm

    • Snaps power drought Tuesday
Harris went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-0 win over the Cubs.

Advice: The 23-year-old center fielder snapped a 20-game homer drought by taking Jameson Taillon deep in the fourth inning, kicking off a six-run frame that blew the game wide open. Harris is just one of a number of Atlanta hitters who has had a sluggish start to the season -- Tuesday's long ball was his first extra-base hit of any kind since April 26 -- but he may be heating up, as he has five hits and two walks over the last four games, lifting his slash line on the year to .260/.305/.390. • Snaps out of funk
Garcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Garcia entered Tuesday's game batting .154 in May but delivered his first homer since April 28 and his first multi-hit game since April 21. Even with the cold spell, Garcia is slashing .247/.297/.449 across 175 plate appearances with a .202 ISO, numbers which aren't too far off his 2022 and 2023 numbers. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:20 am

    • Adolis Garcia homers in two-hit night vs. CLE
Adolis Garcia went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored in Tuesday’s loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Garcia’s ninth homer of the season came on a solo blast off Cleveland’s Ben Lively. It was the first homer of the month for Garcia, who has cooled off in a big way after a strong April. Garcia entered the day slashing .154/.193/.173 in the month of May and has become difficult to trust in fantasy as a result. Managers who are unwilling to bench him will have to hope he comes out of this slump sooner rather than later. Hopefully, Tuesday’s two-hit night is a step in the right direction. • Michael Harris II homers in win over Cubs
Michael Harris II went 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk in a win over the Cubs on Tuesday.

Advice: Harris hit a solo shot off of Jameson Taillon in the fourth inning that traveled 426 feet and left the bat at 106.7 mph. It was his fourth home run and 15th RBI of the season. The 23-year-old is one of quite a few Braves hitters who aren’t living up to their typical production early in the season. Still, there is nothing under the hood that suggests Harris is struggling, and he should be in for a solid summer ahead. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:49 pm
