      Turner (hamstring) went through a workout at Citizens Bank Park for the second straight day Thursday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Turner went through agility drills and took grounders on the field and also hit in the indoor batting cage. While the Phillies are not ready to say the shortstop is progressing from his left hamstring strain ahead of schedule, it sure seems like he might be.       Advice: Turner has goen through a full workout, which also includes hitting and fielding grounders, on back-to-back days, which is notable since he’s just under two weeks removed from suffering a left hamstring strain. The 30-year-old shortstop was originally expected to miss six weeks, but it sounds like he’s going to beat that original estimate by a considerable margin, which is good news for the Phillies and fantasy managers.       Young went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Wednesday's loss to the White Sox.

      Advice: Getting another start in the leadoff spot, Young swiped his 14th bag of the season, tying him for fifth in the majors behind Elly De La Cruz (26), Jose Caballero (17), Brice Turang (16) and Bobby Witt (15). Young only has two successful steals through 12 games in May though, as his issues getting on base consistently are catching up to him -- he's slashing only .167/.295/.222 on the month. The Nationals have been shut out in back-to-back games and sit in the bottom six in runs scored and team OPS on the season, and unless Young heats up at the plate, his time at the top of the order is likely about to end.       Fairbanks struck out two and didn't allow a baserunner in a scoreless eighth inning to pick up a hold in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Red Sox.

      Advice: Fairbanks entered the game in the eighth inning to face the heart of the Red Sox order and needed only seven pitches to get through the frame. While effective, his usage was concerning given that he had pitched nearly exclusively as a traditional closer early in the season. It's unclear whether manager Kevin Cash might continue to mix and match the back end of his bullpen, but Fairbanks could lose save opportunities moving forward.       Advice: Garcia has homered in back-to-back games, giving him 10 long balls on the year. Prior to Tuesday, he had gone 19 games without a multi-hit effort, batting a meager .153 (11-for-72) in that span. That slump took the shine off his hot start to the campaign, but the outfielder is still slashing .259/.306/.494 with 34 RBI, 23 runs scored, four stolen bases and nine doubles over 44 contests this season.       King (3-4) took the loss against the Rockies on Wednesday, allowing six runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out seven betters over 5.1 innings.

      Advice: King fell behind when he yielded three runs in the second inning, and San Diego's offense never put up a fight against Austin Gomber and a trio of Rockies relievers. King had been on a roll coming into Wednesday, putting up 13 scoreless frames over his previous two starts, but he's been very inconsistent this season, giving up at least four runs in four of his 10 appearances.       Adolis García went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer to lift the Rangers to a 4-0 win over the Guardians.

      Advice: García knocked a base hit in the fourth inning, then took Nick Sandlin deep for a two-run homer in the sixth to extend the Rangers lead. The 31-year-old slugger has multiple hits in back-to-back games amid a cold stretch. He hadn’t had two hits in a game since April 21.
