    • Homers in loss
Taylor went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

Advice: Taylor put the Dodgers on the board with a solo shot in the fifth inning and later added an RBI double in the seventh. It was his second long ball of the year and both have come in his last nine games. Taylor didn't have a multi-hit performance through 41 games to start the year but now has two in his last six contests. He's slashing .164/.256/.255 with five extra-base hits and 12 RBI through 126 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 9:18 pm

    • Drives in three runs
Bailey went 2-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and a run scored in Sunday's win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Bailey did most of his damage during the Giants' five-run fourth inning, knocking a two-run double and coming around to score. He later capped off his day with an RBI double in the eighth. He'd been stuck in a 4-for-25 (.160) slump over his previous eight games since his last multi-hit effort June 20. Bailey is now slashing .284/.353/.433 with 17 extra-base hits and 28 RBI through 59 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 9:08 pm

    • Knocks three hits
Ramos went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and one RBI in Sunday's win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Ramos knocked an RBI double and scored a run in the fourth inning before doubling and scoring again in the eighth. The 24-year-old outfielder has cooled off a bit in the second half of the month, going just 10-for-50 (.200) over his last 12 games. Still, he finishes June with 14 extra-base hits while hitting .304 (34-for-112) across 27 games. Ramos is now slashing .294/.368/.508 with 37 RBI and 20 extra-base hits through 48 games. • Picks up win Sunday
Bivens (2-1) allowed a run on four hits over five innings Sunday, striking out three and earning a win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Bivens rolled through four shutout frames before coughing up a solo shot to Chris Taylor in the fifth inning. Bivens was originally slated to be the opener but ended up delivering the longest outing of his young MLB career by throwing 41 of 60 pitches for strikes. He's allowed one run over his last nine innings, lowering his season ERA to 2.57 alongside a 14:4 K:BB through 14 frames. Bivens will likely move back to the bullpen but could be used as a starter again in the near future. Rotowire.com Today, 8:47 pm

    • Homers, totals three hits
Singleton went 3-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Singleton took Mets' starter Luis Severino deep in the second inning for his sixth homer of the season and first in over a month. The hefty first baseman later added two more hits, giving him his first three-hit game of the season. Through 59 games, Singleton has accumulated 205 plate appearances, totaling six home runs, three doubles, 18 RBI, 23 runs and a 53:26 K:BB ratio. Rotowire.com Today, 8:46 pm

    • Crushed by Giants
Paxton (7-2) allowed nine runs on 12 hits and two walks over four innings Sunday, striking out four and taking a loss against the Giants.

Advice: Paxton gave up four runs through three frames before the Giants piled on with a five-run fourth inning. The veteran southpaw had a very odd month of June; he gave up six earned runs in 1.2 innings against the Pirates on June 5 but allowed just two total runs over his next three outings before Sunday's unraveling. Overall, he posted a 6.46 ERA this month, raising his season mark to 4.28 through 15 starts. Paxton's next start is currently lined up to be at home against the Brewers. • Maintains red-hot bat
Nimmo went 3-for-4 with a home run, double, three RBI and two runs Sunday against the Astros.

Advice: Nimmo continues to ride a hot bat, collecting three more hits including a game-tying homer in the seventh. Following a 10-game hit streak, Nimmo's bat had cooled a bit with just one hit in his last 10 at-bats, though he did reach base four additional times via the walk. Nimmo carries a solid .247/.367/.815 slash line on the season with 13 dingers, 50 RBI and 53 runs and five steals. However, over his last 14 games Nimmo is as hitting as well as anyone in the league, slashing .382/.477/.782 with six homers, 18 RBI and 20 runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 8:34 pm

    • Ryan Mountcastle sits due to illness
Ryan Mountcastle didn’t play Sunday because he was ill, according to manager Brandon Hyde.

Advice: Mountcastle also didn’t play Saturday, but since he occasionally sits against right-handers, that went without any explanation. That he was absent tonight against a lefty demanded one. There was no additional comment about whether the Orioles expected him to return Tuesday. Rotoworld Today, 8:31 pm

    • Handed loss in St. Louis
Grene (5-4) allowed a run on four hits and two walks over 4.2 innings Sunday, striking out six and taking a loss against the Cardinals.

Advice: Greene kept St. Louis off the board until Alec Burleson knocked an RBI single in the fifth inning. While that was the only run charged against Greene, Cincinnati was shut out, leaving him with the tough-luck loss. While he needed 95 pitches to get through 4.2 frames, he managed to force 16 swinging strikes. Greene has failed to complete five innings in two straight outings and has just one quality start over his last six appearances. He'll carry a 3.70 ERA into his next start, which is lined up to be at home against Detroit. Rotowire.com Today, 8:25 pm
